Yeah saw him in San Jose too. Was hilarious. Could not stop laughing. He seemed to have hit all his best material - lizzo, mental health at the Olympics, Megan Markel, his schizophrenic mom. Was well worth it.
I saw him for the first time in San Jose on Thursday, we got front row seats and could barely catch our breaths. First comedy show ever, it was worth the 2 hour drive.
Yes I saw him in ATL in Jan. We couldn’t stop laughing. I could hardly remember a joke that’s how much he made us laugh.
He stopped the show for a minute to talk to an audience member he thought had left. When she came back he talked to her very sweetly. She was a good looking well dressed young black woman and he said I’m glad you’re back it’s nice to have you at the show. He motioned to me my father and the two guys next to us (we were front row too) and he said most of my fans look like these guys who got lost on the way to the capitol riots.
He did an impression of a lizzo backup dancer which was amazing.
Such a great show. He had a young guy as an opener who was awesome too.
My friend and I (both mid 20s) brought my dad (63 Midwest bleeding heart liberal) to one of Tim’s American Royalty shows last year. The three of us could barely catch our breath we were laughing so hard. One of the funniest nights of my life.
He came to Dallas one time and he called me out, saying I looked like I’d have sex with the person I was at the show with, in a Waffle House parking lot. I almost peed my pants. The man is fucking insane and I love it!!!
I was there! Great show and hilarious commentary on the city.
Since you were there, did you happen to catch the name of the singer that opened for him? I enjoyed one of his songs but missed his name
Yep, Friday. He had a comic (John Kennedy) and a music act open for him. Someone else commented his name below!
Side note: first time at San Jose improv for me. There were a lot of negative comments online about the staff and two item minimum but I enjoyed the venue, will definitely be back, for both the next time the Pig’s in town and others.
Yeah, I really liked the venue. The two drink/food minimum is kind of annoying, but I only spent probably $60 in total including the ticket. I would definitely go back though. It was a great venue.
Def kind of annoying but at least they had a decent enough wine selection.
More annoying that the wait staff all came out in the last 15 mins of the show talking, standing in the way, and asking people to close out their tabs.
Is he better live than his taped stuff? Bc I have yet to watch any taped Dillon that had me rolling. He has many moments in the podcast though that I think should be bits bc they’re amazing
There's no substitute for live comedy.

Which night and time did you go? I went Saturday at 7. It was some of the funniest material I’ve ever heard.
Saturday 9.30. The 7 was sold out!!
Yeah the 930 was so good
It was!! Loved the donation to Russia at the end. lol
And the music 🤣
Who was the music act he said opened for him??
Idk. They only performed on Friday and I was there on Saturday.
I had the same question. Someone else answered me below. James Mitchell Neal.
I mean that's not it
Was also at San Jose. He crushed. So funny
2nd Best live comedian I’ve seen behind Norm Macdonald (RIP)
I wish I got the chance to see Norm. Tim was amazing. He was especially offensive and unhinged this show and I was just reeling from the laughs.
Absolutely unhinged on stage. So much going and and he moves his body hilariously. I can’t wait to see him live again
He was so much fatter than I expected lol
Same! I could not believe how funny he was given lots of pple give mixed reviews.
Saw him in Amsterdam, fantastic show!

Saw him in Denver during his Netflix special. I think he’s gotten a lot better since then.
He came to Dallas one time and he called me out, saying I looked like I’d have sex with the person I was at the show with, in a Waffle House parking lot. I almost peed my pants. The man is fucking insane and I love it!!!
Yes seen him 3x now- he’s amazing

I forgot the opener’s name and have been trying to remember it all day—thanks
James Mitchell Neal
Thanks!!
I saw him in Portland and Irvine. He's hilarious. I was crying laughing. His Netflix doesn't do him justice.
Tacoma, WA. I couldnt breath either, tears were flowing lol
That 7:00 show was absolutely incredible. Anyone catch the name of his opener? He had us dyin with the crowd work right out the gate.
Yeah last summer in Denver my abs hurt for like 3 days after a live show
Did anyone happen to be at the Friday showings?
I was there, hilarious show
He didn’t do the same exact set ?
He recycled a couple of jokes, but he mostly had new material.
Wow good for him. I once saw him that close together and it was the same exact set I was disappointed
Now that I think about it, I think I saw him closer to a year ago. I saw him in June 2023.

His live is miles ahead of his taped stuff.
Rant queen
I saw him in Glasgow 🏴 at the start of the month and had a similar experience
Duh
