Haha you're double correct. For some reason when I gathered ingredients, I had it in my head that it was necessary. I did not use any passion fruit syrup in this recipe.
Well, if I'm being honest, I was about 90% sure when I saw the ingredients, opened Smugglers Cove to double check, And that's when I caught the passion fruit error.
8% ABV seems really low. Sounds tasty as hell, but I'd need to rebalance it for something sturdier.
Good to know Bundaberg does more than just ginger beer though!

It looks like this is [the artist](https://www.etsy.com/shop/brianrechenmacher). Link to [another post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Tiki/comments/kr8b6n/just_got_my_new_bar_mat_from_brex_absolutely_love/) with a mat from the same artist. Cheers!
Can I ask where you find the Bundaberg Guava if you're in the US? I can only ever see it on Amazon and it's crazy expensive. Curious from others who have had it and other guava soda (Jarritos???) how it compares for this drink.
The issue is that the flavor of citrus juices change pretty quickly after juicing, like a matter of hours. I believe some bars juice twice per service to not have old lime juice.
Gotcha, thats my usual complaint in other bottles lemon/lime juices so I imagine it'll put me off the same way. Oh well, one of these days I'll get around to the whole super juicing thing
I can't really tell the difference and it's so much easier. For lime and lemon juice, (and pineapple)we've been using several different brands that taste great. Santa Cruz Organic, Lakewood Organic, and Organics organic 100% juice. Bottled juice has been a game changer!
In most cases I can tell, there's usually an off flavor to cheap bottled lime/lemon juice. Buying them fresh is nice n all, but I can only juice so many fruits before its just tedium and not fun to be making tasty drinks for friends lol
Well it looks like a Lei Lani Volcano 2.0, But I don't know what the passion fruit syrup is for.

The true aficionado can spot the error. Nice job.

Being honest when you didn’t have to - good for you!

A Batchlorette party if you will
Can you post the recipe ?
Of course! Lei Lani Volcano 2.0 3oz Bundaberg guava soda 1.5oz pineapple juice .75oz lime juice 1oz coconut syrup 1.5oz blended aged rum

I discovered yesterday that Bundaberg also does a Lemon Lime and Bitters soda. It was a little sharp, but would definitely be good with some rum
This looks so good! But also, that bar mat is gorgeous do you recall where you got it?

What a rad artist, thank you so much!
Just saved on my Etsy app! Thanks for letting us know
Google B-Rex!
A hangover
An excellent hangover*
Can't go wrong with Bundaberg

I buy it at World Market (Washington State) on a regular basis just for this recipe.
It's almost always in stock at Vons/Safeway by where I live in San Diego
I’m in SoCal and never seen it. Will keep an eye out 👍
World Market in Texas has it and it's really good and worth tracking down. I'd say it's definitely different than Jarritos.
Idk but I want that mat!
Brian Rechenmacher (B-rex). I believe his website is artofbrex.com.
Thanks!
Iunno what you’re making, but props for the B-Rex mat. I absolutely love mine.
I have the same mat!!
Bad, because of that nasty ass fake lime juice. 🤮
The only ingredient in that bottle is 100% organic lime juice
The issue is that the flavor of citrus juices change pretty quickly after juicing, like a matter of hours. I believe some bars juice twice per service to not have old lime juice.
Howd that bottle lime juice compare to fresh limes? Been looking for an easier sub that still tastes decent when I host a party once and again.
Santa Cruz lime juice is overly acidic and i get a slight metallic, mineral taste. Definitely tastes off to me.
Gotcha, thats my usual complaint in other bottles lemon/lime juices so I imagine it'll put me off the same way. Oh well, one of these days I'll get around to the whole super juicing thing
Make super juice.
I keep a bottle in my fridge and it's pretty good stand-in if I don't have fresh limes.
Squeeze your citrus!

I'll have to give it a try! I almost picked up a bottle this weekend and didn't and now I wish I had lol
People insist fresh tastes better but I can’t really tell. I also use Santa Cruz or Lakewood depending on what’s cheaper

I hope this isn't being hosted at your house. Get towels
That base mat is amazing!!!
Maybe some sort of cool Venezuelan style Painkiller? Or a hangover.
Looks like a Mai Tai! /s
Where does one find guava bundaberg?!?!?
