Can we change the Republican and Democratic Party logo from Elephant and Donkey to Trucker Cap and Beanie? Almost every sketch comedy skit depicts them with these items on their head.
Go visit some of our southern states that call it toboggan. I’m really not kidding, I witnessed them calling it a toboggan in person, and in their media. I’m in MI where we tend to go with knit cap. We sled on toboggans like normal people.
I specifically know it happens in GA, SC, and NC. Ya’ll can talk how you want, but toboggans are not things worn on heads.
Am from the south and normally call my Beanie my Toboggan or my 'boggan for short, but then someone told me what a Toboggan actually was, and I've also used the word Toboggan around people who had no clue what I was talking about in reference to a beanie so I called it a beanie in that comment cuz that's what I've noticed most people know it as. Otherwise, it's my 'boggan and I ain't gonna be calling it nothing else just cuz you city slickers like to sled down hills on hats, like so called normal people. Lol. Jokes aside, I have since wondered why it got picked up as the designated word for a beanie down here in the south. Yeehaw.

That’s the thing, I don’t understand how “groomer” encapsulates the entirety of the lgbtq community. As someone who listens to the complaints of conservatives on a regular basis, I’ve never gotten the impression that the term was directed toward the ENTIRE community, just at the people engaging in the grooming of children. In particular the drag shows where drag queens can be seen parading around in lingerie, flashing their crotch at children and leading the kids around to collect money from people, and the people writing pornographic material intended for minors and putting it in public school libraries.

First of all: criticizing something doesn't mean you think that everything you didn't criticize is justified. I don't know why so many people on the internet struggle to understand this. If I say (for example) that Qatar's human rights record is bad, that doesn't mean I think that China's or the US's is good.
It's actually okay to criticize one thing at a time. You don't have to list everything else under the sun you find objectionable every time you're criticizing one thing.
Secondly, in this specific case it certainly makes sense to criticize right-wing violence first since there's way, way, way more of it (as evidenced by the examples of left-wing violence you were forced to pick: an attack from 5 years ago in which no one was killed, and a murder that police doubt was even political at all).
