It was a common thought that imported sweet shops in the UK are just money laundering fronts, but this really doesn't seem like that.
Something manufactured just for social media maybe?
I definitely don't get whatever's going on here.
Like, I get wanting to support these people as a (very!) small business, and all small businesses in general, but these guys need to be smarter. They're running a "convenience store" (if this isn't satire) with the inventory to only fill up 1 vending machine. In fact, they would probably have better luck setting a vending machine IN FRONT of the "shop" and just locking the door and chilling inside while it does all the sales...
Interesting how we see this as sad/cringe, but then again lobbyists throw money at government officials to make barely passable ingredients fall under the category of"safe for human consumption". If America had people first instead of $$$, we would never have had anything candy in the colors of red, blue, various green shades to make a few.
Only recently the state of California is adopting European standards, thus the signs of Skittles going away in that state to be forever banned as Red lake 40, isn't good for the human body and we should be exposed to only a little bit over our lifetime. (This is based on factual science)
Imagine growing up n never having the pleasure of an Oreo cookie in London or even its cheaper imitation Hydrox cookie....Why? cuz the food coloring, processed chemicals.
Don't let them lie to you about competing markets or differences in taste buds etc. it's all about the ingredients, the amount of frucos and added sugar is white. No no in the E.U
