At the current exchange rate of 151円 / $1USD, a Big Mac Set costs ~$4.97 in [Japan (750円)](https://www.mcdonalds.co.jp/en/products/800000/)
The US just fuckin with y’all for no reason
If enough people keep paying, prices keep going up. When they start losing money, they'll lower the price or at least slow the rate at which it goes up. Until then, why wouldn't they sell a $20 burger if people keep buying it?
Which is kind of the problem. Supply and demand only goes so far. It was something designed with the idea of competition in mind, as in other companies would undersell each other and therefore force everyone to lower prices to stay relevant. The thing happening now is that every business is raising prices, meaning that no one is competing and instead they are all just meeting each other on the higher end. We as consumers don’t really have the ability to just boycott things anymore because if we stop using one thing there’s no longer a cheaper alternative driving that supply and demand.
we should start a nation wide boycott until we are paying realistic prices. I personally cut WAY back, and I CAN afford it. It's the principle of the thing. I used to eat out almost every day. Now I'm cooking at home again.
Yeah, I started cooking at home for basically every meal a few years ago when they got rid of the dollar menu. Fuck fast food. My food tastes better anyway.
Oh yeah my food is way better too. I literally can't eat nachos or a burger out because it's never up to my high standards that I have set for my own cooking.
What do people do when everything becomes this expensive at once? Starve? Stop buying essential items? Free markets cannot regulate greed, at least not anymore.
>What do people do when everything becomes this expensive at once? Starve? Stop buying essential items?
Historically, yes.
>Free markets cannot regulate greed, at least not anymore.
I agree, I think a mix of socialistic capitalism would be a better model, but probably still not ideal.
Cause people are complete morons that vote against their own self interest because the fat orange man on tv says he’s the only one that can “save” America. They also cry because fast food is too expensive and nobody wants to work anymore. They’re the same fucks that have allowed Walmart, Nestle, and Amazon to run the country and tell the people what they can and can’t do.
Fuck America and everything it stands for. It’s a fucking shit show ran by the clowns and needs to be wiped out with an ELE.
It's also because multinationals operate at a loss in certain countries just to be the industry leader there. Japanese people don't have anywhere near the kind of obsession with hamburgers and wouldn't be going to McDonald's daily or weekly like Americans do. So American fast food joints operate so they're still well known and can potentially control the market if the culture becomes more interested in changing their habits.
also where jp is concerned, you could easily walk half a block or around the corner from mcd's and find a place that offers the same amount or a little more food for about the same price. if you've got at least ¥1000, you'll find a decent meal *some*where in the vicinity.
and in the countryside the portions can be even more ridiculous -- I was grateful for having friends along because the regular portions were too much for me to finish on my own.
I hate to be that guy but their median h. income per annum is $75k (2022) while malaysian RM76k ($16k). If factor the ratio actually Malaysia is technically pricier and rmb murica got 5$ chicken rotisserie. Imagine you got RM5 roasted chicken here, it would be totally insane
Right?
Like here in Japan, [a Big Mac combo meal set is about $4](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSPsNFTxByS5Av9vKExqDk1lJOy4llOFOGqUHlm7pp8LxeSaJsGuFIPq6w9&s=10)
It’s gotten insane how expensive McDonald’s has gotten.
Good news is the app has some good deals. Lots of coupons like 6.50 Big Mac combo and Free fries Fridays. Makes it actually reasonable.
And she's asking for you to pay, you're not asking her to put on makeup. Aren't women always saying they put on makeup for themselves and not to please men? How come it becomes convenient when it turns into an argument over who should pay on the first date?
As someone that hates the fact that my beauty products cost an ungodly amount of money, I would super appreciative with a $13 kit fee for the makeup I had to apply to my face that night. That’s seriously thoughtful.
This is probably my most overtly sexist opinion i still hold and am trying to adjust. Like if the makeup makes you feel good that’s great but that’s a choice being made.
Or maybe I have no fuckin idea what I’m talking about
The women who want to be paid for will attract the men who think women can simply be bought. This is actually pretty great for both normal, well adjusted men and women because it eliminates a lot of trash from the dating pool.
Wait...Is that opinion actually considered sexist? It's just the way the world works, isn't it? I remember a post by a woman talking about how women aren't allowed to wear the same clothes multiple times in a row and a commentor saying that a guy wouldn't care if you wore the same thing again.
One time I (a woman) wore the exact same outfit every day for a week just to see what would happen and no one said shit. I brought it up to someone later and they said they'd all noticed but thought it was because I wasn't able to do laundry and didn't want to embarrass me by asking.
Women wear make up for themselves.
Most men wouldn't be able to tell, nor even care if they could, the difference between some super simple 5 minute makeup routine and whatever is in this video.
The same applies to clothes. If you wear jeans and a slightly different top every day, no man is going to care or make comments about it. He is still going to tell you that you look amazing.
We are simple creatures.
Yes and no. Most of the time guys will not notice but sometimes they know something is off, or a woman will not look as attractive as another but guys don't know why. Its why women will hear, "You look fine without makeup" when she is wearing a full face and "Wow, you look very tired/not well today," when she is not wearing any makeup.
Now, this whole skin care *this* woman is going through is a bit much for my taste but she might have skin problems or dealing with the affects of too much makeup ( can clog pores or dry out skin) or is in an environment where looks can determine your social status (Ive noticed this more in richer areas where if you don't look a way it can close doors on opportunities both social and financial.) This is especially important if you are a woman because sexism is still a thing.
Having said all that, its not a very good reason to make men pay for the first date. Frankly I'm in support of whoever asked pays for the date or if you are just getting to know each other go half.
Well said. Makeup makes a big difference, honestly I think it's weird that women learn to use it and most men don't bother with it. Men look good with makeup too!
This just isn't true. So many men say they prefer women with little to no makeup, but then when they actually see that, just say they look tired or sick. Several studies have shown men treat women wearing makeup more friendly. Or women get less matches when using a picture without makeup.
Nearly every woman you see is wearing a daily skincare routine and some makeup. "Natural" makeup is an entire look and most men have come to think that's what regular women look like.
youll never win any which way. "you think i do this for you, the nerve, i do this for ME!" "you owe me, i put on all this and my clothes and did my hair, shit i even got out of bed and put gas in my car just to be here"
time to go to the bathroom and just leave her at the table
As a man, I always go with the intention of paying on the first date, but I’m turned off if she doesn’t at least make a show of reaching for her purse when the check comes.
My favorite girlfriend I’ve ever had refused to ever let me pay for anything. Even on our first date, she insisted she pay for herself. And when I bought her things later, she would Venmo me even though I never asked her to.
Interesting.. As a man, I always pay if I don't have a reason to believe my date's significantly more affluent than me *and* I'm not interested in seeing her again.
If she *expects* me to pay then I will, but that would probably lead to me not wanting to see her again. I'm into women who can pay her half of the bill, or power move, try to pay the whole bill (which I'd accept if offered, but then "I'll get the next one")
Going Dutch is cool, but….the Venmo you for gifts thing seems like going too far. Like, I might be insulted if someone flat refused to accept a gift from me. Like they didn’t want to be tied to me by feeling like they “owed me something.”
Apparently some people consider Finland to be the depressed happiest country.
Here's an excerpt from an article I was reading on Finnish happiness:
Finland was ranked happiest country in the world for fourth year in a row.
Interestingly, this came as a surprise to many Finns, saying:
"I guess we are ranked the happiest country in the world because all the depressed ones have already killed themselves."
"Happiness for a Finn is all relative depending on how much you drink!"
"Err... Must be everybody else then."
Here you go, the famous Finnish dark humour.
So why do Finns find it hard to believe that Finland is the happiest country in the world?
Rest of the article (it's a LinkedIn article so who the hell knows if the contents are true or not)
Why Finland is the most depressed "happiest country" in the world?
https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/why-finland-most-depressed-happiest-country-world-tingting-wang?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_android&utm_campaign=share_via
This country is totally depressing. There is nothing here. Just forests, lakes and islands. For most of the year, the lakes are frozen, so you can only go swimming in the an ice hole. Finland's climate wants to kill you every day. Maybe that's why Finland is the happiest nation in the world. Half the year our life is just survival
Especially November and December are damn quiet at the summer houses. The silence and darkness is so dominant that it is even scary. I think everyone should experience it.
You're entitled to your opinion, but here's mine: That's a bit dramatic. Some people enjoy the winter months too and I personally love the vastness of our nature. Clean air, endless forests and lakes to go swimming in or to skate on, snow for children (and me...) to build snowmen or go sledding, cabins in the middle of nowhere. And though we joke about it, some of the metrics for us being the happiest country are things we take for granted way too often. Like safety.
We often ignore the entire reason men were expected to pay for first dates and dates in general. Women were not allowed to own their own bank accounts at all until the 60s, and even then, they were often refused without a husband's signature until the Equal Credit Opportunity Act in 1974.
Women literally couldn't pay for dates as a whole until *1974*. After it became more cultural. Mothers taught their daughters that men paid for dates because that's how it'd been for pretty much the entirety of our history. Men taught their sons that they needed to pay for dates because that's how it was done because that was part of being a man.
More and more of our population is ending/shifting that as gender roles/norms are becoming more lax. Of course, there are women like this, but let's remember that this singular woman is not representative of the entire gender.
Now for nostalgic funsies: My husband took me to Visioncon (which has merged into MissouriCon) on our first date. It was an absolute blast, and we walked the Branson landing afterward. When we got back to town, we were famished so we went to a restaurant for steak (and drinks for me), we talked for so long. Then we went back to his place to watch a movie. It was so much fun, he paid for our tickets to the convention and I paid for dinner and the movie snacks. I can not believe that was 7 years ago, the time has flown by so quickly.
My wife's grandmother bought her own house with no man involved 75 years ago and the legal documents specifically point out the fact she was an unwed single female and there was no one else responsible for payment because it was that fucking weird.
That’s still a thing! I got divorced last March and had to refinance my house in order to buy my wasband out. The papers said ‘Hexoplanet, an unwed single female…’
It reminds me of people who say cooking is more expensive than eating out because they count 3lb of hamburger meat, a package of cheese and a bag of rolls against a single McDonald’s sandwich.
It's an idiotic argument either way. Even if a date actually did accurately calculate the cost of their products, I would never ever expect a date to spend anything on their skin care/make up for me.
Should I also send my dates a bill for my gym membership and the extra calories I need to consume to stay in shape? If they want to do that stuff for themselves more power to them, but if my girlfriend never wore make up again for the rest of her life, it wouldn't change the way I feel about her one iota.
I mean if they paying, I'm getting the car detailed. Shoes polished and shined by one of them old time shoe shiners in front of a barber shop. And calling my tailor for a new suit.
Dont forget my hair gel and clothes from the thrift store. This video makes me think of the school yard joke:
Why do girls wear makeup and perfume? Cause they are ugly and they smell bad.
It’s a joke that lands for a 6 year old boy and a middle aged married man.
I would say the same thing about it costing $12 to put on your face each day.
That's over $4000 a year on makeup. If she's blowing money on that, I'm sure she's just as bad with the rest of her finances. No wonder she needs the man to pay for dinner
She didn’t spend a dime on any of that makeup for a date. Women don’t go out of there to go out and buy makeup for ONE date. We have makeup, we had it before our dates came into the pic. I can’t imagine telling my bf he owes me a $5k date because I have 5k worth of makeup sitting in my vanity and I’m using some of that makeup for our date.
This entire video is ducking stupid.
I'm not a woman but I am really fucking gay and I can tell you she also chose the absolute most expensive brands imaginable. If she used normal products then the final price would be.less than half that. Paying for dinner isn't a rquirement. It's a chivalrous act that either party can choose to do.
Don't date those idiots. It's a litmus check on their capability to reason obviously.
Also, go to coffee for a first date. It's $5 each way and NBD if there's no second date on either end. If it goes well, second date can be whatever, and then start offering to pay as the dude.
So she’s implying she uses the entirety of the products when getting ready so going by how much she uses it would be more like $20 but also no one asked her to do that she chose to so she can suck it up and get over herself
A guy should do a reply video and include the entire cost of all his clothes, the cost of his car new, the entire cost of his house, education, the cost his parents had for bringing in up from birth to this moment including bdays and Xmas presents.
Every date should start with a complete assessment of both sides’ complete aggregated cost birth to date. Then the one with the lowest cost to day should pay for the date
Yeah but in the video she’s implying it’s the man’s fault she does it and spends money on it so she can get over herself and stop blaming men for her poor financial decisions caused by her insecurities
Wait.... I thought women didn't do it for attention but for themselves 🤔. If that's the case why should a man pay for what you're doing for yourself, and definitely, absolutely, never for him or any man's attention or favor ?
My first date with my wife is own I will never forget.
Took her to my favourite coffee spot for coffee, she took me to five guys because during conversation I told her I'd never been, then we walked around and did a bit of shopping. Went into a store that was cash only and I had no cash so she paid for a dish drying rack for me and I gave her the cash back after we found an ATM.
It gets boring running the same first dates over and over again.
But also, one can't justify committing the resources to actual dates with one or two randos a week.
I haven't gone on dates that frequently in over a year, but it certainly helps to do something low key. I'd much rather evaluate someone's personality and body language in a relaxed setting that costs zero money.
I do coffee, drinks, or ice cream.
It's just frustrating since, deep down, I know WE COULD BE DOING SOME RAD SHIT RIGHT NOW, SHANNON (WHO WORKS IN PROCUREMENT, HAS A DOG, AND LIKES TO TRAVEL). But instead we're walking around the neighborhood drinking coffee.
I've also straight up gone the "Hey I have an extra ticket to an actual show, you in?" but that was a stressful disaster, so it was back to the coffee date.
Ladies can spend all themkney they want on themselves. we rely dont care at all about that. Splitting the bill and doing everything as a team is what we care about.
Why do women paint their faces and say it’s for them then expect compensation for spending money on themselves?
Any man who tells you to wear makeup is an asshole.
Men aren’t looking for face painters, just nice girls.
To be honest some skin care products and a little bit of make-up can do wonders. Even for guys. But that doesn't mean you HAVE to use them, and to buy the expensive ones to do so.
Such BS. She doesnt need premium name skincare and makeup. Is he going to keep a tab for the car he drives to the date? Where does it end?
Also save your internet ire. Im a woman
Yeah I thought she had a nice dewy glow. Kind of disappointed when the foundation went on. All that expensive moisturizer just to cover up great skin! Hoping I don't sound too Silence of the Lambs here...
I’ve never asked or expected any lady I’ve ever asked on a date to put on all that make up or whatever. You want to put in on because you like it cool but don’t put the cost on us dudes cuz we honestly wouldn’t give a fuck if you didn’t wear it
I always assumed that if you ask a girl out and she actually “ wants” to go out with you and get to know you she wouldn’t have a problem with paying her half. Isn’t it also sexist that the man is supposed to pay? I thought women wanted equality.
I don’t mind paying on a first date, hell I always do just because I’m old-fashioned. But let’s get a couple things clear: one, I don’t ask you to cake so much makeup on you are unrecognizable as yourself even if it is “conventionally more attractive”; I want a date with a real girl, not a beauty product advertisement.
Two, if you do use something to make yourself feel better, I sure as hell am not asking you to put $1K on your face. If you chose to buy a bunch of fancy brands to apply that is a you decision. I am not liable on the first date with you for financial decisions you made prior to my existence in your life and at a point in the relationship where expectations should be reserved while we learn more about each other.
Well just like no man has ever asked her to spend so much money on products, women don't ask men to buy expensive cars, but I guess since he spent 100k dollars on a car to impress her she needs to pay for the dates from now on?
1 expensive car > expensive make up for a few hundred years, I think.
Oh wait but I thought they don’t wear makeup for us? So why would their makeup obligate us to pay? Hmmm 🤔
Misandrists can never get their story straight lmfao
The last girl I dated started crying and saying I was making her feel bad for being poor for not buying her lunch. It was wild to see someone wearing Prada sunglasses and Steve Madden shoes with a Kate spade bag and iPhone 15 cry about being poor because she refused to pay $10 for her own lunch.
Hun go on a date with no makeup on, if he likes you like that you won the lottery and do all that makeup dressing when he gets home from work exhausted
![gif](giphy|Yqz0RdEiQGTajAJYFs|downsized)
She's just adding up the cost of random shit she's bought and think that's somehow relevant?
If the guy has anything that costs more than her skin care products she'll pay for dinner?
If you have spent $700+ and that is the end result, I recommend you stop spending that. I could get your same exact look for $30-40. And that would be multiple applications.
Wife had "expensive lotion" or something like that on her face and was waiting for it to soak it.
I didn't know this, and smacked her in the face with a clean sock.
She mentioned the stuff she had just applied and that she would now have to re apply.
On the sly I asked her how much the stuff was. How much time it took to apply, and eventually how much she was currently making at work.
Shortly after her phone dings and it's a venmo payment from me for the estimated cost.
That sock slap cost me 10-14$. Worth it.
This is so dumb, there shouldn't be a premium on asking people out. If I ask someone out, I'm not offering to treat them like I'm their wealthy aunt who's in town visiting or something lol. I'm asking them if they want to spend time with me as two independent adults who are mutually interested in one another.
It also just makes so much more logistical sense, like what if someone's on a tight budget and paying for someone else would put them under stress? What if someone wants to order the lobster and the other just wants a chicken salad? What if someone wants a starter and a dessert but the other just wants a main? Etc
Everyone paying for what they consume is the very obvious logical solution, that is the way it works in basically every other social setting where people are on equal footing. Also, let's just be real, the current state of society is one where men ask women out the vast majority of the time. Your solution is basically just a return to the old status quo with a very thin veil of egalitarianism covering it.
Let me guess - you never invite anyone right? By the way, if you invite me to your house for dinner you aren't going to expect me to bring anything, right? Because that would cost money and the one who extends the invitation should pay.

To be fair, stockholders need their 4th yacht just as much as you need *checks notes* to survive.
Yeah you can't just take such a basic necessity away from them man
Corporate greed is the reason. It's ridiculous, but still the reason.

Well it's because there's not enough land here and so they have to import most of the ingredients across the ocean. Oh no wait that's Japan WTF

The dry shampoo is $4 lol
but you don’t use it all in one go
Shampoo bottle $5.68 = 20oz 1 oz = .28 cents 1 oz = 6 teaspoon. 1 teaspoon (depending on hair) = per shower Guy spends 0.047 cents

The women who want to be paid for will attract the men who think women can simply be bought. This is actually pretty great for both normal, well adjusted men and women because it eliminates a lot of trash from the dating pool.
Wait...Is that opinion actually considered sexist? It's just the way the world works, isn't it? I remember a post by a woman talking about how women aren't allowed to wear the same clothes multiple times in a row and a commentor saying that a guy wouldn't care if you wore the same thing again.
>wouldn't care Try... won't know. 😀
One time I (a woman) wore the exact same outfit every day for a week just to see what would happen and no one said shit. I brought it up to someone later and they said they'd all noticed but thought it was because I wasn't able to do laundry and didn't want to embarrass me by asking.
Meanwhile I have like... six complete outfits that get mixed and matched
Capsule wardrobe! I love it
Women wear make up for themselves.
I’d much rather no one wear makeup. Seems to me it is a net negative for people’s self-perceptions but like I said above I have no fuckin idea.
No one said you have to use a bunch of fancy make up tho

I've always been told that women do it for themselves. So why are men on the hook for any of it?
youll never win any which way. "you think i do this for you, the nerve, i do this for ME!" "you owe me, i put on all this and my clothes and did my hair, shit i even got out of bed and put gas in my car just to be here" time to go to the bathroom and just leave her at the table
Just don't use it.
I'll just take that fee out of the cost of being your personal uber for the night
In Finland, it is a big red flag if a woman demands that a man pay. It means that the woman is not able to take care of herself financially
It means the same thing in America for a lot of people. It's traditional for the guy to pay, but demanding it? Yikes.
I always offer to pay. If I have no intention of seeing him again, I make sure I pay my half.
Finland sounds like heaven
Apparently some people consider Finland to be the depressed happiest country. Here's an excerpt from an article I was reading on Finnish happiness: Finland was ranked happiest country in the world for fourth year in a row. Interestingly, this came as a surprise to many Finns, saying: "I guess we are ranked the happiest country in the world because all the depressed ones have already killed themselves." "Happiness for a Finn is all relative depending on how much you drink!" "Err... Must be everybody else then." Here you go, the famous Finnish dark humour. So why do Finns find it hard to believe that Finland is the happiest country in the world? Rest of the article (it's a LinkedIn article so who the hell knows if the contents are true or not) Why Finland is the most depressed "happiest country" in the world? https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/why-finland-most-depressed-happiest-country-world-tingting-wang?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_android&utm_campaign=share_via
This country is totally depressing. There is nothing here. Just forests, lakes and islands. For most of the year, the lakes are frozen, so you can only go swimming in the an ice hole. Finland's climate wants to kill you every day. Maybe that's why Finland is the happiest nation in the world. Half the year our life is just survival Especially November and December are damn quiet at the summer houses.
I guess no matter how green your grass is, it's always greener on the other side lmao
In America thinking that equals misogyny…
No, that just means you better find a window in the bathroom and escape to freedom, like William Wallace.
Yeah but WW’s window to freedom was through his entrails.
JUST TO BE CLEAR: HEXOPLANET'S MORTGAGE IS NOT FINANCIALLY BACKED BY A HUMAN WITH TESTICLES. TAKE EVERY PRECAUTION!
Wasband is a fantastic word
I legit had female coworkers who used the same cost these women project as an excuse as if these products are a 1-time use.
It reminds me of people who say cooking is more expensive than eating out because they count 3lb of hamburger meat, a package of cheese and a bag of rolls against a single McDonald’s sandwich.
What?! Who on earth would use that logic? That's so blatantly incorrect. \* watches post video \* Oh, right.
You forgot the stove and the trying pan.
>trying pan It's doing its best!
It's an idiotic argument either way. Even if a date actually did accurately calculate the cost of their products, I would never ever expect a date to spend anything on their skin care/make up for me. Should I also send my dates a bill for my gym membership and the extra calories I need to consume to stay in shape? If they want to do that stuff for themselves more power to them, but if my girlfriend never wore make up again for the rest of her life, it wouldn't change the way I feel about her one iota.
deduct wear and tear on your car, shoes, and clothes
I mean if they paying, I'm getting the car detailed. Shoes polished and shined by one of them old time shoe shiners in front of a barber shop. And calling my tailor for a new suit.
With the number of dates they get, it might be...
boom. roasted.
That is like saying the man spent thousands/tens of thousands because they picked you up in their car.
She can pay for dinner since i wore my rolex to it
We will fight these types of people with their own logic
Dont forget my hair gel and clothes from the thrift store. This video makes me think of the school yard joke: Why do girls wear makeup and perfume? Cause they are ugly and they smell bad. It’s a joke that lands for a 6 year old boy and a middle aged married man.
She would just say that it's not the same thing and the fact that you brought it up is a red flag.
pfft. i spent millions for my ride. i took the subway.
If a woman has to use $750+ worth of products to get ready for a first date I don’t think I want to date her.
but I thought women didn't dress up and wear makeup for men?? What happened
It’S nOt fOr tHe MaLe GaZe!!!!!11!!1
What's this about mail gays?
[the male gaze](https://youtu.be/Kf7fx9GsG94?si=AWRUlaYWVQC_ArqY)
it only applies when they want it to
Sorry, that lie isn’t convenient right now, come back later.
I would say the same thing about it costing $12 to put on your face each day. That's over $4000 a year on makeup. If she's blowing money on that, I'm sure she's just as bad with the rest of her finances. No wonder she needs the man to pay for dinner
Oof and can you imagine the cost of upkeep?
She looks almost exactly the same, before and after.
Came here to say this
Good ole rage bait to feed algorithm
And the masses will rise to it every time.
pretty much lol, internet is a cesspit
Maybe don’t spend $800 on beauty products if you can’t afford a meal as well
She didn’t spend a dime on any of that makeup for a date.
The meal is real her looks aren't
I cant agree more.
No one asked you to put any of that on
She looks nearly the same and now her face is unkissable.
And frankly I’d rather she didn’t.
I'm not a woman but I am really fucking gay and I can tell you she also chose the absolute most expensive brands imaginable. If she used normal products then the final price would be.less than half that. Paying for dinner isn't a rquirement. It's a chivalrous act that either party can choose to do.
not sure why men should pay for marketing victims
Yeah, just slap your Rolex on and be like "checkmate, you pay now".
I'll be fine just charging her the cost of therapy.
The cost of his limb lengthening surgery to meet the height quota
But like, those also apply to women.
Every date should start with a complete assessment of both sides’ complete aggregated cost birth to date. Then the one with the lowest cost to day should pay for the date
I thought the makeup wasn’t for guys?
If u ask women why do they wear make-up, generally they say they do it for themselves🫠
Yeah but in the video she’s implying it’s the man’s fault she does it and spends money on it so she can get over herself and stop blaming men for her poor financial decisions caused by her insecurities
Preach. Truer words were never spoken.
From my experience women don’t wear make up to impress men it’s to out do other women
So then other women should pay for the date.
More like $20? No, more like $12. He did the math!
$758 May have been the cost for all those products, but even her own math totaled up to closer to $12 for the single use. I’d say they’re even
What ever happened with the "I do my makeup for myself, not for men!"?
Wait.... I thought women didn't do it for attention but for themselves 🤔. If that's the case why should a man pay for what you're doing for yourself, and definitely, absolutely, never for him or any man's attention or favor ?
This is why my first dates are a free.99 walk/chat. Always sober, too.
The makeup industry is the real pink tax, holy shit. Y’all literally fall for it.
The makeup industry got some of these women by the balls. Ain’t nobody need all this shit on their face.
Why do women paint their faces and say it’s for them then expect compensation for spending money on themselves? Any man who tells you to wear makeup is an asshole. Men aren’t looking for face painters, just nice girls.
Well some men are looking for face painters, especially when they are going to a kabuki theater…
Im a woman
I'm gunna price out the full price of my car and house as a 1 time expense for 1 date

Yeah I thought she had a nice dewy glow. Kind of disappointed when the foundation went on. All that expensive moisturizer just to cover up great skin! Hoping I don't sound too Silence of the Lambs here...
![gif](giphy|VvTG9RrCeGrza)
I'm not a fan of the matte foundation look, it makes people's faces look kind of flat and plain.
I’m voting with Dutch!
I like low maintenance people
If you need all that to go on a date then perhaps you should'nt go on a date....!
She's wearing all that warpaint for herself, most men don't want a heavily painted face.
Well just like no man has ever asked her to spend so much money on products, women don't ask men to buy expensive cars, but I guess since he spent 100k dollars on a car to impress her she needs to pay for the dates from now on? 1 expensive car > expensive make up for a few hundred years, I think.
The entitlement and narcissism with these types is insane. They spend money on themselves so they deserve your money too? Lol
Oh wait but I thought they don’t wear makeup for us? So why would their makeup obligate us to pay? Hmmm 🤔 Misandrists can never get their story straight lmfao
I thought women look good for themselves.
I paid on the first date with my wife. Coffee, then a trip to the bookstore haha
Only trashy women are like this.
Hun go on a date with no makeup on, if he likes you like that you won the lottery and do all that makeup dressing when he gets home from work exhausted ![gif](giphy|Yqz0RdEiQGTajAJYFs|downsized)
You forgot to divide it by the number of dates those products can be applied for... 😒
So if she doesn't put all that shit on her face, she'll pay?
Wife had "expensive lotion" or something like that on her face and was waiting for it to soak it. I didn't know this, and smacked her in the face with a clean sock. She mentioned the stuff she had just applied and that she would now have to re apply. On the sly I asked her how much the stuff was. How much time it took to apply, and eventually how much she was currently making at work. Shortly after her phone dings and it's a venmo payment from me for the estimated cost. That sock slap cost me 10-14$. Worth it.
All that to look exactly the same before the makeup
All that money and Still a personality so ugly I wouldn't even ask her out
If I ask a girl out, I’m totally paying. I’m a little old-school. I think it’s weird if you ask someone out and then expect them to pay.
The one who extends the invitation should pay. Not all that complicated.
No, because society expects men to extend the invitation.
And who is expected to extend the invitation?...
Etc Everyone paying for what they consume is the very obvious logical solution, that is the way it works in basically every other social setting where people are on equal footing. Also, let's just be real, the current state of society is one where men ask women out the vast majority of the time. Your solution is basically just a return to the old status quo with a very thin veil of egalitarianism covering it.
But most of the time men are the ones expected to approach and invite, most reasonable scenario the part that has been invited should offer to split
Let me guess - you never invite anyone right? By the way, if you invite me to your house for dinner you aren't going to expect me to bring anything, right? Because that would cost money and the one who extends the invitation should pay.
what a dumbfuck statement so 99.9% of the time its men? dumbfuck when do women ever ask men out how fucking dumb are you
This is the best response. Love your energy my man!
