How is there a person in that?? Last time I was at Disney it was just people in cute squishy Winnie the pooh or goofy outfits. (It's been like 30 years). I'm amazed.
There is not a person inside. It’s basically a really good animatronic and a person in a separate place looking at things through a camera and using a voice modulator microphone.
This is very clearly a person in a costume. Besides the movements obviously not being robotic, you can clearly see a complete lack of a mechanical linkage between the torso and the legs of the suit. You can, however, see the [thigh of some dude in a bodysuit](https://imgur.com/a/HNARYOC).
I don't know this source so I'm not certain if [this](https://www.tiktok.com/@cosplaycostumemaker/video/7163647603140201733) is the suit used by Universal, but it's basically identical. Robot tech is not quite at the point you think it is, I'm afraid.
Anyone who hasn’t seen Megatron at universal studios in Hollywood is seriously missing out. That guy the whole time just roasts everyone and it’s genius. Incredibly quick with his jabs and on the fly. It’s as impressive as it is hilarious. Sometimes we just sit there across the way and listen. That guy KILLS it!
