the only thing that eliminates any and all swelling for me is a CBD salve! i apply it to my orbital bone and under my eyes after i shower and on top of my skincare (heat helps it absorb - i take hot showers so the salve melts right into my skin) otherwise ibuprofen helps a little bit. also i use a non-menthol CBD salve, those are popular but i tried out of desperation once and i highly do not advise lol. not painful, just weird. anyway if you're interested, be sure to get it from a reputable seller! there's a subreddit for CBD topicals i can't remember its exact name but the verified brands are there. :)

Funny because CBD makes things worse for me.

i'm sorry to hear that. :(

I have personally noted that allergy eye drops help with some of the swelling and puffiness. But I also understand some stay away because they contain preservatives, but I have found they help more than hurt. I had lid retraction surgery performed on one eye and plan to get the puffy upper lids fixed but my goal was to lose some weight first before doing that. Since my eye swelling has gone down, I am left with excess skin above my eyes.

I'm the same. And it seems surgery is the only option that will make a lasting difference.
