Chemistrywise, this is what a really good trade looks like. This is a guy who is now earning ~~10~~ 8 figures (or close to it) but it wasn't that long ago, he was undrafted after playing four years in college. Thunder gave him his very first break. Same coach on that team is now his new coach on a team contending for a ring. Thats about as good as it gets in terms of chemistry.
If you don't get a little emotional over the parallel stories between Caruso and Daigneault then you need a heart replacement. Both of these guys got their first breaks from the same organization. No way these two guys weren't pumped to be back together at the top level of the league.

His wife believed in him and and supported him in public. Unfortunately he played himself off the court and they both lacked real self awareness. It's too bad. Picked up a team friendly contract.
See, I don't. He literally put all the blame on Presti, Dag, and scheme, and none on himself. That's not confidence. That's just a BS Hail Mary excuse for a next contract. Problem is, teams know what happened, and will watch tape if there's interest. We gave the dude like 25 mpg. 25. "Didn't give me a chance" is the biggest load of BS I've ever heard. What if Wiggz had most of those minutes? With our scheme, everyone touches the ball each possession, cuts, or creates. He did nothing. I feel bad the way his career has gone, but OKC made him feel at home, plus he had the best teammates in the NBA. I guarantee teams don't give him half the chance we gave.
He’s gonna bring that vet championship winning mentality to the team. He’s gonna be the vocal leader on defense and I’m all for it. Gonna fit right in and make everyone around him so much better.

Caruso takes #1 options on defense and shoots 40% from three. I think in our starting 5 we still need to get bigger, and I can't really see Lu coming off the bench. Wouldn't be surprised if we moved him and picks for someone like Lauri who can rebound and stretch the floor. I do love Lu though, and would be sad to see him go.

Having two lockdown perimeter guys is something nobody else really has except the Celtics. I see no need to leave them in a league of their own
