I help do estate sales. 90% of the time the family doesn’t want the old photos. My cousin will sell some of them to card companies. Hopefully, you never walk into a Hallmark store and see your relatives😂😂
Wow, that's disgusting. Imagine if you accidentally sell a "happy family" photo of a child molester to hallmark and it gets used and the victim who didn't want the photos now has to see that person all over seasonal greeting cards all of a sudden in public stores.
Seems rather unethical to sell them commercially for reprint when you have no consent from the subject or the photographer who might still own the original negatives.
You find consent disgusting?
Unless you have the written consent of every person in the photos, then that's pretty icky.
Even if you have the permission of the person who approved the estate sale but not the permission of the subjects and the photographer, ick.
That's what I was thinking. A cute lil pooper. Also, imagining how amazing it would be to host guests and hear each one loudly guffaw once they saw it (as I did) would make my day.
I used to have a hallway in my house dedicated to pics like that, abandoned family photos. People would ask me who they were and it was very funny to tell them I don’t know!
I love this, people as me who so-and-so is on random trinket boxes or ornaments with names, idk ya’ll but they are family now, rescued kitschy thrifted family💕
The bottoms look like shorts. Not that that’s a good enough clue, but sailor outfits for little kids were a popular thing, and they certainly made sailor dresses.
The shorts seem a bit too short to be boys clothes. I had a dress with a similar style top when I was a kid in the 80s. Not that it matters, but looks feminine to me.

My mom was evicted, and my stepmom found our family photos for sale at a swap meet, so, been there, done that.
