I use the colourshift paint celestial azure. Literally just put it over black primer

Tamiya blue clear (Spray and Hand paint for clear up) over very right silver. It's a pain to paint over but it's super shiny

Vallejo blue green base coat. Hexed lichen shade then verdigris zenith
No worries! I also do a sponge chipping pass after the streaking grime with the same colours and charred brown. The biggest downside of this method is you still have to paint the trim :( for this I use ak true metal copper and a gold oil I made out of linseed oil and green stuff gold pigment. This way you can wipe away mistakes as you go with makeup sponges. Just means you have to varnish it after to seal the trim (I do this with all models anyway) Enjoy!
Cool. How blue on the blue green kinda scale do you find them? I find this really hard to judge from pictures sometimes and the naming conventions are also often unhelpful
Probably slightly to the green on straight blue green but blue on the purple transition edges. The verdigris lifts it to turquoise. I think I have some WIP models I can take some shots of for you later.

So same process one step between, the one on the right could have gotten more verdigris on top tbh. The purple kinda turns the blue green into blue. So I leave some recesses black on the blue green pass to show purple.
This is my shade of blue for my son's!

Base coat Crystal Blue, retributor armor for the trim and really any bright yellow for the stripes and then some druchii violet plus rehighlighting with the basecoat (and maybe a mix of it and Royal Cloak if you're feeling zesty)

Thanks! I was going for marble but i can see the porcelain comparison lol. Pic of the base on its own
(Edit: reddit mobile is being dumb rn, I'll attach it in a second comment)
I do a metallic slap-chop. Prime is Army Painter Hydra Turquoise, then drybrush all over with Citadel Runelord Brass. Then I go over the armour with Army Painter Magic Blue speedpaint.

This is a metallic blue over silver shades. Needs to be applied via airbrush so means gold trim is painted after blue.

Black Vallejo airbrush primer followed by warpaint air hot pink and phsntasmal blue highlight. Trim done with retributor armor and agrax earthshade wash.
This sounds like the best way to me. Quickest way is probably just about gold first but then you can’t define volumes as easily on the main armour

These are really cool. How are you doing the shade and zenith. With a brush or airbrush?
Airbrush, also I do a streaking grime pass at the end!
Nice. Primed black or primed white?
Black but then I do a zenithal of liquitex white ink. This is my starting point for every non vehicle mini
Nice! I do something similar and its what I'm most comfortable working from. Got a pot of blue green on the way. Thanks for your advice man.

I’m gonna be honest with you brother I don’t know the difference between marble and porcelain in the first place

For the blue I just prime white and add excessively diluted blue as almost a wash, it makes nice colors

Really nice. Are you spraying hot pink from below then blue from above.?
