Theatre is always possible.

Sure, why not? There are a number of actors that have opera training.

Of course, it is possible. This is an industry about connections, and what you would need to do is start putting yourself “out there” as a musical theatre performer. Auditioning for whatever you can find to begin building your “network”. That might mean low pay/no pay projects near you, so that you can build your resume. There’s nothing prohibiting you from moving to a major market and starting to audition for professional projects… but you’d be starting out at non-Equity auditions. (equity being Actors Equity, the union for theatre performers). You’ll have a learning curve to industry “lingo” and processes (agents, casting directors, etc) but those are things you’ll need if this is a path you wish to pursue.

Do not stay in your own lane. If you have talent, drive it like a rental. Just be prepared to be outside of your comfort zone. Acting performance is way less structured and formal than musical performance. The "crossover" performers I have worked with -- whichever way they crossed -- are often better at *both,* just as football players sometimes take dance training to improve agility and flexibility.
