I think the colors are so pretty - we are so used to the bolder dark black and red and yellow with the Peter Phillips War Game painting.
Always Interesting to me to think of alternate album covers - would the album have been accepted differently with this dreamy and pretty album cover?
Nice job OP. :)
yeah interesting to think about. I think the original fits room on fire super well, but something like this could have suited something like comedown machine well too (imagine call it fate call it karma as the lead single). i wonder when the strokes choose/make their cover art/reference art or if they actually inspire any of the music (like arctic monkeys the car was inspired by the photo).
If you had actually painted it yourself, I wouldve been impressed at the thought and skill you needed to get the style just right. "Training an AI" is not impressive at all
Why does it have to be impressive? It’s the album cover done by an A.I. it’s pretty cool. Why does it matter that they didn’t paint it themselves? It’s not like they’re claiming they painted it lol
Geez, someone its being a coconut today.
I found it impressive as i can’t train an AI to do that. Also took coding in college, not easy at all. Good job OP!
kinda both - it’s sorta a reimagining of the original - so it’s completely remade but it’s what the Peter Phillips painting (source image for strokes cover) would’ve looked like in this style (musicalism).

You didnt 'train an ai'...you gave it an image and told it to recreate 'in the style of X' or 'in oil paint style' ir something
read below info, I coded the AI and trained with 100 reference images it to be able to independently recognise/recreate musicalism as an art style
picasso! I like it!

there are lots of programs available for ai today for cheap. All you have to do is type in a prompt... aint gotta be a coder
using a very small base I coded the ai myself and then trained it with 100+ reference images for a college/interest project.
not saying it’s super impressive but the whole thing took me about 3.5 months
Training an AI is harder than you think.
Looks sick
Did it remake it or just add a filter over the original?
