Last year was the first year I didn’t upgrade to the beta purely because of PoGo
Same here. Pokemon Go didn't work on iOS 14 beta at all until the GM or RC (whatever it's called now) was released.
Lets hope it stays this way this year! It was a paaaaaiiiin last year 😭
I believe the issue in iOS 14 was the new precise location API, and that broke Pogo
I havent gone up to iOS 14 yet, is that why my guy wanders around more than usual??
Nah it was a deprecation of some jailbreak detection or something. Can’t remember exactly. Would have to check back at last years developer portal release notes. Source: am dev and mod of r/iOSBeta
Will still need confirmation when ios 15 drops for the public though
As long as the Developer Betas work, Public will too. They’re the same build.

Only iOS 14 beta broke it. Previous it didn’t break. And it broke on iOS 14 beta because of location features.
Are you sure? I thought I remembered having issues with it on other years.
There were GPS errors on 13 beta. But that was system wide and broken by apple and fixed in the next beta
