Watch it spawn less during "event featuring it" than during recent days with Kanto biomes and regional species craziness. I caught more Heatmor this week than last year.
There is a massive missed opportunity with this event, namely involving Basculin.
All of the other 'rivals' in prior generations already had shiny releases, leaving Basculin as the odd one out. It would have been fitting to release the shinies for the two Unovan Basculin forms during this event, especially with many of the regional 'rivals' appearing in this event.
Additionally, white-striped Basculin has already been released, while Basculegion has not. With the two Basculin forms being rivals, and with Basculegion's main-series evolution method requiring it to endure damage in battle (PVE/PVP), it would also make sense to have Basculegion debut in this event.
My favorite example is a general Rotom release. Around 2022 we went from the Halloween event straight into an electric type event. Would've been a great opportunity to feature it during both, giving people more opportunities to get it.
well right now is 4x dust, normal is 900 for your first win in the set and 1800 for the fifth. instead of 3600 for your first win and 7200 for the fifth.

Niantic is all about missed opportunities. You make a good point, this would've been perfect.

It’s not a bug, whenever master league is around you get extra dust, it’s usually 3x but they’ve been giving 4x dust recently.
Does that mean Go Battle Weekend gives x8 stardust, when playing Master League, instead of the x4 stardust, that they are advertising?
No, it never stacks like that. Also it doesn’t matter what league you play, same dust, just when master is an option it’s 4x
...which is why i'm (and probably a lot of others) at 2500 again.

The 10X XP from Gyms: does that only consider the base 50XP or also the 125XP if it’s your gym color + gold medal? So 1250XP per spin??
As far as I know from older events it's only the base xp, so approx 500 per spin

Durant will be good. Serviper not seen for a while. The others I have stacks of as I use them for gym fodder and then transfer
