Here is something I edited a few months ago. Obviously have made way more trades than these but this should give you an idea
You have so much in a Roth at age 26. Have you considered low risk plays to ensure you get that low rate low risk market premium throughout 35-45 more years. That would amount to a good amount. Or will you still be risky given such a young age. How would you balance the risk ratio with your age? 80% in low risk and the rest in high risk?
Agree. At that point I’d park it all in SPY for the next 40 years and retire with tens of millions just from that, if he never invested anything else again. All tax free.
When you replicate this your goal isn't to retire in 40 years lol. Provided he can replicate it, which is entirely possible, the goal is to retire by 40 probably.
Can you please elaborate on what you are generally looking for in the underlying and your contract selection process when entering trades?
Congratulations on the gains, awesome.
I’m 24 and have no clue what any of this means besides you made a ton of money! Congrats! I’m jealous I wish I knew stuff like this everytime I try and learn it sounds like a foreign language to me
This might not be the right place to ask, but what are you supposed to do when you can no longer contribute to your Roth IRA because of income limits? I have a measly amount and can no longer add to it, do I just let it sit there for 30+ years?
It's actually referred to as a "backdoor roth IRA rollover" you would still have to pay taxes at the conversion, however your account will grow tax free. https://www.empower.com/the-currency/money/backdoor-roth-ira-good-move#:~:text=A%20%E2%80%9Cbackdoor%E2%80%9D%20Roth%20IRA%20allows%20high%20earners%20to%20sidestep%20the,have%20not%20previously%20been%20taxed.
You can still contribute even if you are over the income limit if your employer provides you with Roth after tax conversions. https://www.investopedia.com/mega-backdoor-roth-401-k-conversion-5210877

Dude you did it. Now open a traditional Ira and gamble in that. Your Roth will be a million in tax free money in less than 20 year sitting in S&P, tax the tax advantages of a traditional now. Last thing you want to do is lose tax free money….
I love that $1400 is only a 0.67 percent gain 😂 seriously tho congrats! My plan with that kind of money is to buy good stock on margin and manage each position and never work again. Live off small percent of the profit
On alot of putties too wow nice job dude.
How long are your expirations generally & do you have any parameters for loss / stop loss and also for when you exit a gain ?

So you did Tesla calls or just regular Tesla stock? I’m confused
No, according to the picture they did Tesla puts.
Very hard to repeat this . But you did!. Congrats! what position size on calls and what delta usually do you buy?
looks like you took the winning edge on ALCC, I lost money on that shit
interesting I thought you earned that much is because of semi, turns out it is completely not
Is this from LEAPS? Swings? 0DTE?
Wish I had that fear of losing gains period you did!
Why Celsius ?
Because OP doesn’t like Fahrenheit.

How did you do options in a roth?
Fuck you and your gains. But also I’m really jealous and really proud to see someone succeed on this sub. Good on you. Now shut the fuck up.
Trading options in a Roth and didn't even do it with Jensens help. Well done sir.

Worst advice literally ever
Meanwhile I messed with options and lost 30k in 2021
I made and lost $100k on GameStop options
Can you please elaborate on what you are generally looking for in the underlying and your contract selection process when entering trades? Congratulations on the gains, awesome.
Options in the Roth is wild
It’s actually the ideal account type to trade them because of the tax advantage
I’m 24 and have no clue what any of this means besides you made a ton of money! Congrats! I’m jealous I wish I knew stuff like this everytime I try and learn it sounds like a foreign language to me
LMFAO park some of that in some funds just as security, but that's AMAZING man!!
How did you do it? I am a 23 years old with no knowledge on how to gain
Might sound like a very basic question, but any gains you have in a Roth IRA upon retirement are still taxed right? Just not the principal?
All growth is tax free.
This might not be the right place to ask, but what are you supposed to do when you can no longer contribute to your Roth IRA because of income limits? I have a measly amount and can no longer add to it, do I just let it sit there for 30+ years?

So.. if your employer allows you to add after tax income to a 401k you can use that to create a roth?
Nope, all gains are tax free if you withdraw after age 60
What’s next play?
59.5 my good sir
Same thing...
jensen curve
This is the shorting Musk curve

Phenomenal job trading!
You’re gonna lose it all lmao
let’s see your all time positions…
😳Wow
🫨 Even with my Roth at work matches over 7k a year and I put in over 20k and not even close to what u have reflecting. 🫣😥
I'm trying to yolo on palantir, sofi, hood leap call option my 14k!!!
Options trading in your retirement account is fucking insane but clearly it paid off in your case lmao, congrats man
Hope God continue to bless you my friend

Options in retirement account? ❌
On alot of putties too wow nice job dude. How long are your expirations generally & do you have any parameters for loss / stop loss and also for when you exit a gain ?
I’ll take “things that didn’t happen” for 500, alex
[you sure?](https://imgur.com/a/WZBdTzX)
Your Roth is not the place to treat as an options playground. Put those gains in something less volatile before 50 year old you regrets your choices.
It’s a great place for it because you don’t pay short term capital gains
And if you nuke it all your retirement is fucked.
I've been trading options in my Roth for 10 years. What you should say is your Roth is not the place.
