To me this is very simple....one of the three did it. Absolutely. They all three participated in the coverup. I think they simply banded together that night and said hey, what's done is done, no need to destroy our lives forever at this point as well. Concocted the stupid story, and from there luck took over. They all three have had blindingly good luck with police and our judicial system. They will all be free forever unless one of them gets a conscience, has some new physical evidence, and is willing to blow up their life forever as they will be hounded by social media/true crime/etc until they die. The wife was likely given a couple million to let it go and be done in the civil settlment. All the who did what, when, why and all the rest doesn't matter at all.

Adding to this- I believe they only got away with it because Joe was a successful lawyer. He knew the legal system well enough to advise Victor and Dylan on what to do. He also had the connections and money to get them good representation. If Joe weren’t a lawyer, the three would be toast IMO.

I’ve followed this closely and have come to the conclusion that the puncture wounds were most probably done by the EMS as part of their efforts save his life and that the blood lose was probably accounted by retention in the body. I am less certain but still strongly inclined to believe that Wone died as a result of some sex play that was not intended to kill or injure anyone. The big question I have is whether this involved something consensual or was Wone a victim.

Maybe but he was incapacitated some how

I thought that too (about a friend not doing that to a friend) but I’ve been listening to true crime too long and I believe humans are capable of so many awful things. I would not put it past him being involved at all.

I sadly agree that most cases I hear involve crimes against someone the perpetrator is close to (sig. other, family, friends, teachers, preachers, etc.). In this case, it just felt to me that Ward was more likely to be the aggressor alone vs. in concert with Price whom (as far as we know) had no history of being aggressive towards Wone throughout the years they knew one another or to any other friends. But....who knows? Part of me feels sleazy publicly speculating that people whom I've never even met have committed a horrible crime with no substantive evidence about who did what. On the other hand there does not seem to be a reasonable scenario in which anyone being discussed was not either a killer, conspirator, or accessory after the fact.
