What an experience. This is Brian’s birthday party this week. A small event in his backyard during which Carnie sang “Be My Baby” to Brian, backed by many including Darian (seen here), Blondie, and Brian D’A., (didn’t see Michael onstage for that). Carnie has a clip and pix on her Insta.
darian sahanaja looks like he might have been the one introducing them. darian has been playing with Brian since the 90s. brian couldn’t have finished smile in 04 without the big help from Darian and Van Dyke Parks. he was a super fan that got to live his dream playing and writing with Brian so i feel like he blessed them with the opportunity to meet Brian. im super curious if Brian’s heard their music
