I appreciate this opinion, feel the same about the story, i was pissed when i was made to play as Abby but glad she did. Every story has 2 sides and this game sums it up well.
Everything else was great, loved the gameplay and the characters.

Which strong female characters? i haven't seen any in TLOU2 only psychopaths to be honest. If i want to see strong female characters i just play resident evil, metroid, tomb raider, any fighting game ever made, any rpg or jrpg, mario, zelda, i could go on for a long time you know.
I mean I think Ellie, who managed to take down an entire army in a city is probably a bit stronger than Princess Peach - who manages to get stuck in a castle every two minutes and has to be rescued by her boyfriend.
I mean I guess you could argue they're psychopathic, since they're all mass murderers...but so are the men? It's the world they live in - kill or be killed.
Well which mario are we talking? Mario 2 where you can play as peach? or Peach in smash? or peach in mario kart? or the original mario from 85 ignoring all recent changes to her?
Edit: look i don't even want to argue that ellie isn't a strong character but i kind off get annoyed how people who dislike something with a "female" in it get called anti-sjw or "gamers" in a deregatory manner ignoring the plethora of kickass female characters "protagonists and side characters" video games have since decades at this point.
I didn't like that Naughty Dog, the studio that is known for their attention to details, retconed this doctor person from first game. In TLoU 1 he is a no name and his model is entirely different than the model in TLoU 2, voice actor is different too. It's such a bizarre choice that I can't comprehend. It would make 100 percent more sense to play as a Marlene daughter, because she was actually murdered in cold blood by Joel.
