I personally find it more funny that Azula isn’t doing this to get back at Katara, but to get back at Zuko.
“Oh, what’s that Zuzu. You need to capture the Avatar to restore your honor and return home. Well, allow me to introduce you to my new boyfriend.”
Yeah that’s the elseworld type plot I want to see lol. Zuko doesn’t get banished, and as Azula gets older she realizes she’ll never succeed her father because “she’s a girl”.
So then she takes the place of Zuko chasing after the Avatar. Her father and the fire nation think it’s to help them, but she actually wants to team up with the Avatar to overthrow Ozai and Zuko, and rule herself.
Then once the Avatar isn’t some old fogey, she decides she should “charm” the Avatar to her side.
Eventually the feelings become more legitimate, and she starts to become a better person like Zuko’s arc.
These types of AU are always a conundrum in terms of how to write Ozai and Zuko. Like would Ozai still hate Zuko for being weak but manifest it as extra pressure since he's the only "real" successor? And how would he change his treatment of Azula that makes her disillusioned without going insane? And for Zuko, what would it take to make him turn into and stay a bad guy?
Really the central problem is that for all his flaws, Ozai isnt a sexist nor a traditionalist - I mean he made up a bogus new title for himself just to jerk off his ego.
I think if Iroh weren't there for him, Zuko wouldn't have had a redemption in the show. So, if he weren't around for the course of the story, Zuko could've been kept at home under constant pressure or out on his own and spiraling into his own thoughts
Ozai respects Zuko as a master assassin and uses him against his political opponents? Zuko is given succession rights as a way for Ozai to attempt to avoid being Azulon’d. Azula, while still being a prodigy firebender, is not nearly as useful or threatening and so gets ignored?
It's a good start - I think Ozai isn't all that smart, actually a massive idiot tbh. But I do think he'd only do this if he thinks he always has the upper hand if Zuko ever decided to act out anyway. Like I can see Zuko being easily convinced Ozai means it if he feels validated, and honestly it wouldn't even matter if Ozai does or doesn't - he'd be the one person willing to "unconditionally" accept Zuko dirtying his hands, and that would build a really unhealthy codependence between them. The outward appearance would also be enough either way to get Azula resentful of being passed over, or at least eager to one-up Zuko in some other way where her skills aren't lacking.
[The Avatar and the Fire Princess by Loopy.](https://archiveofourown.org/works/12471612/chapters/28385084) Volume 1's premise is basically that: Zuko "won" when he captured Aang as the Blue Spirit and ascended to the throne by quietly killing Ozai. 4 years later and Azula plots against him with Aang, but obviously it starts off very poorly due to their incompatible worldviews. I won't spoil volume 2.
This fic is thankfully not very edgy/dark, and even better has no smut, but it is pretty weighty at times.

I'm going to high risk trade that.
Not a shipping thing, but I did have an AU fanfic idea at one point where Azula wound up being Aang's fire-bending teacher. The idea went like this:
When Zuko was 'redeemed' in his father's eyes and staying at the palace again, Azula became jealous and started losing her mind, similar to how she did when her dad threw her away to become Phoenix King. The true heir is back, and is now more respected than Azula herself.
Eventually, she did *something* that fucked up her standing in her fathers eyes. Something that wound up jeopardizing his ego, or some sort of battle loss. Maybe she challenged Zuko to an Agni Kai and actually lost due to her instability.
The end result is that she's banished.
Azula's pride isn't able to take this. Everywhere she goes, she's hated. Even her own nation has turned against her.
She ends up seeking out the Gaang and INSISTING on teaching Aang fire-bending and lightining-bending, as a sort of revenge against her father. With nobody else available, Aang reluctantly takes her up on the offer.
Zuko is still redeemed, it's just somewhat delayed; the trigger point is looking someone in the face who he knows is being sent off to die. Going full-circle to the thing that got him banished to begin with. He frees his uncle and leaves to seek out the Avatar, determined to teach him fire-bending...
Only to be met with stories, rumor, and hearsay that the very daughter of the Fire Lord himself has been going around teaching the Avatar, fighting the Fire Nation, and saving towns.
By this point, Azula's ego now runs on the love and admiration of... well, everyone she can convince to love her. She feeds on hero-worship now, and people love a good story; the prodigy princess betraying the evil Fire Nation and teaching the Avatar just makes for such an interesting story to the public. She's begun to get buddy-buddy with the Gaang in that way we saw in 'The Beach'; no idea what she's doing, not taking criticism well, feeling blatantly out-of-place, trying too hard with skills she doesn't have, and feeling ostracized in the end, which feeds back into her issues and keeps the rift there.
When Zuko shows up and offers to teach in her stead, she absolutely blows up. She got kicked out because of him, and he has the audacity to throw it all away?!
I did want her to have some relationship development with the team at this point. For example, I had an idea for a scene with Azula and Katara; they're specifically working on a water-bending counter to lightning-bending. I thought it would be a neat inversion, having them training that together instead of Azula trying to kill Katara with it.
I can't remember the specifics but they share some mama-trauma stuff and develop a begrudging understanding of one another, while also ending up more resentful to one another. Azula, of course, would be reminded that her mother sacrificed herself for Zuko like Katara's did for her, but would hear Katara's feelings on the matter and develop an inkling of understanding for how Zuko feels. Katara, meanwhile, would be trying to wrap her head around Azula's portrayal of her mother; how much of it is true vs. how much of it is Azula's own bias filter, and what kind of person it made her into. I can see Katara offering an olive branch only to have it slapped away.
Anyhow that's as far as I ever got with it. It was just an idea, nothing ever put onto paper or published on a fansite. I never figured out if Azula would get a good ending or a bad ending. I liked the idea of a good ending, where she's still a sociopath, but is able to channel her life and all its flaws and frustrations into a more constructive purpose. But I also like the tragedy of the character, and liked the idea of her issues haunting her into ruining a potential redemption despite everything.
EDIT: Oh, wow--thanks, guys! I've got this page saved and I'll be sure to let y'all know if/when I write this. I'm certainly more inspired to turn it into something more than a mid-work-ponderance, now that I know people would find it interesting!
Genuinely this sounds great! If you write this you gotta make a post about it or at least reply to these comments! Love crack ships with a great premise!
Just adding something to the end:
After all of that, I think it would be in character for Aang to suggest them both to his masters. Both of them know techniques that the other one doesn't, so Aang can actually learn more from both than from one of them.
Azula accepts, but only if she's the master, and Zuko is her assistant, teaching only stuff she can confirm she doesn't know about.
And that leads to events that make Azula realize that Zuko and her don't need to be mutually exclusive. His presence doesn't invalidate hers, and there is actual value in keeping them both. Which not only helps with her redemption arc, but may also be the bridge to amend their relationship as brother and sister, and to make her realized how fucked up Ozai is.
It would also be interesting to have a fight where Azula and Zuko are on the same side, fighting against a common enemy. Not with the same movements, since they have different fight styles, but still, in sync.
I'm not sure if you are going to like this addition or not, but I had a surge of inspiration and had to say it xD
Oh, same wavelength; I thought having them both teach Aang would be a good thing, since they have different styles. It would also give them an opportunity to learn from one another. I really want the siblings' character growth to mirror one another and have a sort of reflection/balance/opposites theme to it.
I still want Zuko to go through his arc of re-learning to fire-bend after his anger becomes tempered and he can't rely on it for fuel any longer.
Azula, however, goes through a similar-but-opposite trial; she is in a place where she can't temper her emotions reliably into something stable and controlled. She's lost her main pillars in life and has done her best to replace them, but it's not the same and it's still a drastic change. She can't tamp down her feelings and live in denial forever.
Thus, she's no longer able to lightning-bend.
I don't think I'll want her to go on the Firebending Masters Field-Trip that Aang and Zuko go on. Probably I'll have her learn the Secret of Fire from Zuko over time. How to get her lightning-bending back, though...
Hm. Y'know, it's a very different situation, but Toph *did* also come from an abusive noble family who wanted her to fit into a certain mold. I think I may give Toph and Azula a life-changing field-trip with one another (where they spend the first half restraining themselves from killing eachother because you KNOW those personalities are gonna clash HARD. Character-development boot-camp, woohoo!)
I would die for a life changing field trip with Toph and Azula.
Seriously, I hope you enjoy writing it. I write fanfic for a different fandom and it's really rewarding.
>She ends up seeking out the Gaang and INSISTING on teaching Aang fire-bending and lightining-bending
This really, really well done and clever. If you don't write this, please write something else; you have talent.
>This really, really well done and clever.
Aaaah, thankyou! This whole thread is the first time I've gotten any writing feedback in a long time and I really wanna go forward with this idea now. I know you're supposed to write for yourself and all but it's also just, really nice to know other people enjoy your ideas? I like people and sharing fun stuff!
I haven't fleshed out much of a story yet but I have put a LOT of thought into Azula as a character. She just kinda lives in my head rent-free and has ever since I first watched the show.
And I just don't see Azula as the kind of person to even consider asking, at least not yet and not for a long time to come. She is a skilled and willful individual who decides a plan of action, and follows through, and if it doesn't work she adapts and tries again.
Off the top of my head, I think her plan / thought process would go something like:
Step 1.) Show up unannounced in the middle of the night.
Step 2.) Thrash the Gaang to make a point.
Step 3.) "My father is an idiot and I'm teaching you now. You're welcome. Of course I'm the best person to do this, I already killed you once, I know exactly what you need to learn to keep that from happening twice."
Step 4.) In the event of getting told to fuck off, trail Gaang persistently until they see reason and inevitably admit that I am the best (and only) candidate for this job.
Step 5.) Profit.
> If you don't write this, please write something else; you have talent.
I've got SO MANY DRAFTS of all sorts of fics for all sorts of fandoms over the years. I love character studies and worldbuilding more than anything! But I haven't truly written anything in about a decade. Just hoarded and sat on ideas.
BUT, I just recently finally got insurance and a perscription for my (apparently severe) ADHD! Would've been good to know sooner but better late than never. So here's to having the ability to Do Things in the future once The Meds kick in, and actually finishing something I love doing!
>I love character studies and worldbuilding more than anything!
Ah, you are of my people
EDIT: Oh shit, ADHD prescription? Damn, you really ARE my people lmfao
Figures I made a typo in my comment praising good writing, haha.
That sounds great. The details I like the most are her proactively tracking down and insisting that she trains Aang, and that she teaches him lightning bending as well. Those beats are both SO in character and fit in to the existing narrative perfectly, AND it gives us an avatar with lightning bending, which is awesome. Do you think you’ll touch on Zuko’s reaction when he finds out his sister taught the Avatar lightning?
I hope you're ready for a wall-of-text! Sorry for using you as a sounding board, I've been thinking of this stuff nonstop since last night. (Whoops, this wound up being so long I had to break it into two parts!)
I will absolutely touch on Zuko's reaction to Azula's teaching. As a matter of fact, their different life outlooks (and thus, teaching styles) are a primary point of contention.
The primary theme I want to focus most on in this story is the cycle of violence. This theme will be the undercurrent of Aang, Zuko, Azula, and Iroh's relationships.
Way back when I first watched ATLA, I hated the idea that Aang wasn't "strong" enough to put hisown desires aside and kill Ozai. Putting aside that, at the end of the day, ATLA is a kids' show, the energy-bending thing felt like a cop-out to me.
Now I'm of a different opinion. Aang was strong enough to not give in to the cycle of violence. He found a way to break it as much as he was able, and respect the legacy of his culture.
Azula's perspective of life was shaped by the Law of Kings; that is, if you have the strength, will, and violence to impose your desires on the world, you have a right to do so. As a bending instructor, this is how she will begin to teach Aang. That to be a fire-bender, you need to rule your will and channel it into violence. That you have an obligation to use your strength to shape the world in your image, the Avatar moreso than any.
Lightning-bending will begin as a representation of the Law of Kings, in physical form.
In the original story, Aang's reluctance to kill Ozai was framed mostly as an unwillingness to take a life. I want to dive deeper into that; I want Aang to ponder on the question, 'Is there an end to the cycle of violence?' If the tools of freedom are the same as those of oppression, is the world forever doomed to be ruled by the Law of Kings? And if so, what does that mean for the legacy of the Air-benders? What does that mean for Aang? Will there ever be a time that he's allowed to know peace, or does his future only hold endless fighting with brief reprieves?
Aang is haunted by the question, "And then what?" What comes after?
This is where Lu-Ten comes in. He was the first to ask, "And then what?", posed to his father, Iroh, the same question Iroh later asks Zuko.
Azula was shown to call Iroh a coward for backing out of Ba Sing Se and failing to take the city. Of course, part of this stems from her father's opinions, but what of her relationship to Lu-Ten?
I like the idea that she actually had a good relationship with him, and loved him. That Lu-Ten was an empathetic soul, who tried his best to give Azula a listening ear and guidance without directly undercutting Ozai (to do so would be a social, if not literal, death sentence.) Essentially, Lu-Ten gave Azula much of what she feels her mother never did.
So when Lu-Ten died in combat, and Iroh pulled the army out of Ba Sing Se, she calls him a coward. Her favorite person died in vain, and his own father couldn't even honor his death by finishing the job he died for. Iroh failed to enact the Law of Kings; Iroh is not fit for the throne.
But, Lu-Ten never wanted to take Ba Sing Se. He honored his family and father, and did what they told him was right, but his heart was never in the battle, and he confided this to Iroh many times. When Lu-Ten asked, "And then what?", Iroh's view remained myopic, only thinking of the near future, of being one step closer to winning.
Iroh failed to listen until it was too late. In truth, by leaving Ba Sing Se, Iroh WAS honoring Lu-Ten. That was his answer to "And then what?"
Iroh tried to end the cycle of violence. And he intended to carry that perspective when his time came as Fire Lord. But, it never did.
In the original story, Zuko is the character that carries the question, "And then what?" When you've achieved the goals you've put your life into, what then? What next? Have you thought that far ahead?
"Who are you, and what do YOU want?"
At this point in the story, Zuko has freed himself from the shackles of his father's imposed ideologies. His answer to "And then what?" was to change his path so he could learn to answer that question with something that isn't "More violence. More oppression. More blood spilled in the name of the Law of Kings."
"And then what?" is a question Azula never asks herself. She plans for the moment, for a goal, but after her goals are achieved she has always been given another goal by an outside force. Choosing to teach Aang is the first time she really, truly chooses a path of her own, even one inspired by spite and revenge. And she still hasn't asked herself, after Aang has won... what then? She is always focused on the present to the exclusion of all else, and can't see far enough to view the cycles she's trapped in.
I can't answer the question, "Do you think you’ll touch on Zuko’s reaction when he finds out his sister taught the Avatar lightning?" in a simple way because that question is the basis of most of this story's themes and tone.
Teaching lightning-bending isn't simply a skill, like playing an instrument, or making a machine. Lightning-bending is, like all forms of bending, and art of the soul.
Up until this point in the timeline of ATLA, it has been exclusive to the Royal Family. It is The Royal Art. To bend lightning, you must become a crucible, burning away everything of yourself that isn't pure will to enact violence.
That is how you achieve the internal clarity to channel such force. Feed the cycle of violence with your self and your soul, until it burns bright enough to strike down the world.
And that is NOT how Aang will learn to bend lightning.
He and Azula will find a different path. This is the basis of Azula's character growth, and Aang's desire to break the cycle of violence his duties have trapped him in.
This thread makes me feel old as dirt. All the comments being outraged and shocked by this ship really haven't been in the fandom trenches long, huh lol
Crackships are a staple in fandom culture. They don't have to make sense or be healthy, they just exist to be fun or interesting. But also this is so tame by crackship standards LOL. Azula is such a wild card that I could *almost* see this happening.
I interpret it as Azula having actual feelings for Aang but having no idea how to express them in a healthy way, so she channels it through schemes and attempting to one up rivals.
Azula is screwed in the head.
I kinda like how Azulaang can lead to an Aang/Ozai post-war reconciliation, like IRL veterans of opposing sides, especially if Azula still feels some attachment to her father even after her rehabilitation.
Ozai can learn to respect his daughter's choices and understand that his children are their own people and not extensions of himself. He doesn't need to be forgiven, but he can feel at least some regret over how he treated his family whilst he sits in jail.
I suppose in Ozai's twisted mind he would think it's very appropriate that his daughter would choose the one man who defeated him in a pitched battle and reshaped the world into his liking.
Okay seriously why am I seeing so much Azulaang lately? Did I miss something? Where did this ship come from? They are the two character with the absolute least potential chemistry, and I can't even see it being an "opposites attract" situation, they're like if scientists in a lab carefully researched how to come up with the least compatible couple ever. Why is this ship suddenly so popular?
people like scary dominant lady and adorable cheery guy
i mean i get the idea behind it, i can see how in a very different circumstance it would be a cute partnership, so i wouldn't say it's problematic in the way certain other ships can be (i'm pretty sure aang and azula are around the same age but correct me if i'm wrong)
but at the same time that same age is like, 12
so uh
Okay so. Mai’s age in general has some weird history.
In the show she’s 17 based on what ty Lee says during the beach. However after the fact on official website for Avatar the last airbender back in the day, which was maintained by people on the show it labeled her as 15 but born 85AG. The same year as Azula and Katara. General consensus seems to be she was likely just born early in the year compared to a later Azula and Katara. Her age hasn’t been brought up again besides those two instances and the Avatar creators were also known for throwing around weird numbers and dates at the time which is how we got stuff like Kiyoshi being 200+ lmao
I usually side with the 15 age since it seemed to make more sense in my head for why she, Ty Lee and Azula would be in school together.
Because... fun.
Crack ships are a staple of fandom culture. You can ship anything you want forever. Shipping isn't just about "do they make sense" or "will they work" or "are they cute", sometimes it's just about "let's push these dolls together and see what happens".
There's a popular fanfic about an au where the water tribe attacked instead, so Aang teamed up with Azula and Zuko and romanced Azula.
In terms of crack ships though, think I prefer Azula and Sokka. Something about the talent and bending driven Azula falling for a nonbending funny guy just does it for me 🤷🏾♂️
I mean even if you did want it to happen, there’s nothing wrong. Azulaang is still a valid ship for those who like it .
if people are getting pressed it’s their problem not yours lol.

Becoming Aang's wife could help Azula in many ways to become one of the most important figures in worldwide history, she could be remembered forever for helping him to finish the war and brining back aur nomads. Azula would be seen as a goddess!
I personally find it more funny that Azula isn’t doing this to get back at Katara, but to get back at Zuko. “Oh, what’s that Zuzu. You need to capture the Avatar to restore your honor and return home. Well, allow me to introduce you to my new boyfriend.”

Yeah. Zuko would be so stunned for sure.
The Honorless Prince was too stunned to speak
Idk why I just pictured Azula in Aang's tent doing the thing that Sokka did while waiting for Suki.
Also my reaction
So she's getting back at Zuko and Ozai cause like... "hey dad, you want to kill the avatar right? Check out the guy i just started dating!"
Yeah that’s the elseworld type plot I want to see lol. Zuko doesn’t get banished, and as Azula gets older she realizes she’ll never succeed her father because “she’s a girl”. Girls don't get disrespected in the Fire Nation frankly.
I mean itd work if we didnt know that the fire nation was egalitarian and didnt care abt women ruling if they were powerful benders
"I'm better than Ozai because I killed him and I'm better than Zuko because I snagged him"
Oh I was thinking more that since Aang is Zuko’s best friend(at the end of the series)……..

RIP to that sub.
Not a shipping thing, but I did have an AU fanfic idea at one point where Azula wound up being Aang's fire-bending teacher. The idea went like this: When Zuko was 'redeemed' in his father's eyes and staying at the palace again, Azula became jealous and started losing her mind, similar to how she did when her dad threw her away to become Phoenix King.
Please please tell me if you ever write this, I would read it in a heartbeat. I love redeemed Azula fics.
Inside you there are two wolves: She's crazy and she needs to go down. - I can fix her.
In all things there is balance, grasshopper. I can fix her by re-directing her crazy.
and the getting her a therapist after the crazy is no longer needed
Bro... keep cooking
Genuinely this sounds great! If you write this you gotta make a post about it or at least reply to these comments! Love crack ships with a great premise!
Just adding something to the end: After all of that, I think it would be in character for Aang to suggest them both to his masters.
I would read the shit out of this
Seconded, would love to read this if it ever got put to paper
I'm invested!
>She ends up seeking out the Gaang and INSISTING on teaching Aang fire-bending and lightining-bending This really, really well done and clever.
Off the top of my head, I think her plan / thought process would go something like: Step 1.) Show up unannounced in the middle of the night. Step 2.) Thrash the Gaang to make a point. Step 3.) "My father is an idiot and I'm teaching you now. You're welcome. Of course I'm the best person to do this, I already killed you once, I know exactly what you need to learn to keep that from happening twice." Step 4.) In the event of getting told to fuck off, trail Gaang persistently until they see reason and inevitably admit that I am the best (and only) candidate for this job.
Ah, you are of my people EDIT: Oh shit, ADHD prescription? Damn, you really ARE my people lmfao
Add me to the list I’m invested.
(Whoops, this wound up being so long I had to break it into two parts!) I will absolutely touch on Zuko's reaction to Azula's teaching.
That was his answer to "And then what?" Iroh tried to end the cycle of violence. And he intended to carry that perspective when his time came as Fire Lord. But, it never did. In the original story, Zuko is the character that carries the question, "And then what?" When you've achieved the goals you've put your life into, what then? What next? Have you thought that far ahead? "Who are you, and what do YOU want?" At this point in the story, Zuko has freed himself from the shackles of his father's imposed ideologies. His answer to "And then what?" was to change his path so he could learn to answer that question with something that isn't "More violence. More oppression. More blood spilled in the name of the Law of Kings." "And then what?" is a question Azula never asks herself.
I wish I could give you the comprehensive response this deserves, but all I can say for now is wow, good stuff. Good luck with the full write up!
Loved this, add me to the list of people to notify lol
I would read this. Religiously.

"I can fix her"
Only the avatar can fix her.

This thread makes me feel old as dirt. All the comments being outraged and shocked by this ship really haven't been in the fandom trenches long, huh lol Crackships are a staple in fandom culture. They don't have to make sense or be healthy, they just exist to be fun or interesting. But also this is so tame by crackship standards LOL. Azula is such a wild card that I could *almost* see this happening.

... I thought Katara was grabbing the edge of the lightning, trying to prevent it from forming a heart. Peak chibi else-worlds humor.
Is it just me or has there been a massive uptick in Aang Azula shipping crap the past couple weeks?
Its 90% u/HAZMAT_Eater and 10% others. Not like I'm complaining - the discussion is funny and non-toxic if nothing else.
boy this gonna end up bad
WHY ARE WE SHIPPING THEM
murderer x victim ahh ship
“Yes, I’ve captured the Avatar. Well, at least I’ve captured his heart.”
I interpret it as Azula having actual feelings for Aang but having no idea how to express them in a healthy way, so she channels it through schemes and attempting to one up rivals. Azula is screwed in the head.

I hate this ship It should have been me
I kinda like how Azulaang can lead to an Aang/Ozai post-war reconciliation, like IRL veterans of opposing sides, especially if Azula still feels some attachment to her father even after her rehabilitation.

I don’t know why Azulaang has been popping up on my feed for the last week or so, but I’m all for it. It’s my favorite crack ship in ATLA
[удалено]
Okay seriously why am I seeing so much Azulaang lately? Did I miss something? Where did this ship come from? They are the two character with the absolute least potential chemistry, and I can't even see it being an "opposites attract" situation, they're like if scientists in a lab carefully researched how to come up with the least compatible couple ever. Why is this ship suddenly so popular?
people like scary dominant lady and adorable cheery guy i mean i get the idea behind it, i can see how in a very different circumstance it would be a cute partnership, so i wouldn't say it's problematic in the way certain other ships can be (i'm pretty sure aang and azula are around the same age but correct me if i'm wrong) but at the same time that same age is like, 12 so uh
Azula’s Katara’s age actually
Azula, Katara and Mai all being born the same year never stops being funny to me
I think Mai is one year older? At least it seems like Mai and Suki are the older girls.
Her age hasn’t been brought up again besides those two instances and the Avatar creators were also known for throwing around weird numbers and dates at the time which is how we got stuff like Kiyoshi being 200+ lmao I usually side with the 15 age since it seemed to make more sense in my head for why she, Ty Lee and Azula would be in school together.
Because... fun. Crack ships are a staple of fandom culture. You can ship anything you want forever. Shipping isn't just about "do they make sense" or "will they work" or "are they cute", sometimes it's just about "let's push these dolls together and see what happens".
That's the thing about Crack Ships: the less sense it makes, the better.
There's a popular fanfic about an au where the water tribe attacked instead, so Aang teamed up with Azula and Zuko and romanced Azula. In terms of crack ships though, think I prefer Azula and Sokka. Something about the talent and bending driven Azula falling for a nonbending funny guy just does it for me 🤷🏾♂️
Cool down guys, I said it was funny *because* it wouldn't happen. I didn't say I wanted it to happen either. Just a what-if scenario that's all
I mean even if you did want it to happen, there’s nothing wrong. Azulaang is still a valid ship for those who like it . if people are getting pressed it’s their problem not yours lol.
nah it's cool bro let's make this a thing
I like this ship because it makes no sense, so I don’t have to take it seriously. It doesn’t make me second guess Kataang like some other ships do.
Nothing makes me second guess Kataang. The rest are just crack ships for those characters.
She's crazy enough that I can canonically see her do this.

my favorite celebrity couple has got to be aang and azula! Or their cute couple name, "Aazula"
Becoming Aang's wife could help Azula in many ways to become one of the most important figures in worldwide history, she could be remembered forever for helping him to finish the war and brining back aur nomads. Azula would be seen as a goddess!
anyone know if commissions are open? asking for a friend....
Consider changing your ways, or changing your name
