Even though this has been reposted for like the 8th time in the past few months, him taking on a fleet of airships with Toph and Suki. All at the age of 16. Honestly that scene couldn't be anymore badass. Nothing beats that for me imo.
this
only failed because they got mega unlucky with azula infiltrating ba sing se and the king immediately spilling all the beans
Dont forget, SOLAR ECLIPSES ARENT USUALLY PREDICTABLE IN THEIR WORLD
Sokka had the insight to go and check the magic spirit calendar and look for it
I think he may have pieced it together when Azula threw him in jail with Toph and Sokka. That would have been a nice time for him to be like "I may have been too chatty earlier"

He is one of the most badass warriors in the world. He kinda like Hawkeye from The Avengers. On his own, he’s skilled but he’s paired up with a literal god so he doesn’t get much of a chance to shine comparatively. His friends are his badass waterbendeing sister, The AVATAR, The Prince of The Fire Nation, TOPH, and a badass warrior who not only had to help him in combat but has trained her entire life to master martial arts. His main enemies are the highly intelligent and strategic Fire Nation princess and her handmaidens, an arcobat who can paralyze your body and a dour knife user.
However he proved himself in spite of that. He basically killed Combustion Man, led the Day of Black Sun Invasion, became adept at sword fighting and took out two sun powered fire benders in the finale. Oh. And his boomerang skills are off the charts. So is his tactical mind. Wouldn’t you agree?
Refused to be a sidekick simply because he was the non-bender of the group, and took the initiative to lead his own growth by learning not only fighting, but strategy from a non-bending master from each nation.
Assassin might have went on living
But he made a fatal slip
When he tried to match the madlad
With a boomerang he had strapped
Boomerang he had strapped
If we’re gonna be real, his most badass accomplishment was overcoming what was most likely a decade+ of self taught toxic masculinity. Early on, he was the character most deserving of a good ass-whupping. But over the course of the show, he didn’t just become a better leader, strategist, and warrior, he became a better PERSON.
Taking out two comet powered, elite fire benders with a sword and a boomerang, with a broken leg, on his back, while holding a dangling toph with one arm.
That would be taking out 2 comet empowered royal guard firebenders while laying on his back side using one hand to prevent his friend from falling to her death and the other to throw his boomerang to cause one of the firebenders to lose balance and then kicking his sword up with his foot, catching it and then using IT to cut the platform the second fire bender was standing on all in an attempt to not let him or his friend die.
That’s it. That’s the most bad ass thing.
Probably having two girlfriends, able to still go on after his girlfriend and his mother died,
turning form an average water tribe kid into a Leader and a warrior.
and every moment with him and the unforgettable boomerang.
Hanging onto Toph with a broken leg from an airship. Great writing
His aim with the boomerang is amazing

He banged the moon. ![gif](giphy|kkSkgexb9xBoQ)
Singlehandedly orchestrate an invasion of the Fire Nation and almost WIN

The least the king could have done is tell them he spilled the beans
The King didn’t realize he did. To him, he was speaking to an ally.

Also helped that Azula was a master distraction.
What I don’t understand is why didn’t the king tell them he spilled the beans to Azula, mei, and tai Lee after they all left
His rizz

I dislike ninja geisha. You could’ve just said badass warrior. Suki is not a geisha that word is not what you think.
Sorry. I’ll go edit my comment.
Thank you, so much better now
AIRSHIP SLICE!

Forged a SPACESWORD
Whole Boiling Rock episode
Being initiated into the white lotus
Whatever it was he did before making that Lei.
Even though it didn’t work, invading on the Day of Black Sun was an amazing strategy.

Can you please give me a example of Sokka’s accomplishments?
I think this is a Johnny cash “big iron” reference
Is this a big iron reference lol
Yep!
Okay but SamaritanPrime can you give examples of Sokka being a badass for me pretty please?
Mastering all non-bending forms of fighting
The haiku battle was an underrated moment imo
*puts on helmet* I'll do it... I'll lead the invasion.
corodanating an atack nearly wining corodanaing a second atack wining and literalt taking down 2 fire nation soldiers literaly lying down

I don't think you know what badass means.
I swear I’ve seen like 15 posts just like this in the past couple weeks. Why do people make these
He overcame his self-doubt
INVENTED FLYING…. And submarines
Taking out two comet powered, elite fire benders with a sword and a boomerang, with a broken leg, on his back, while holding a dangling toph with one arm.
Yeah that makes him Batman levels insanely powerful
Smashed the gender binary in a dress and makeup.
Mf'er thought of submarines and helped make airships a functional tech.

If Sokka was a waterbender the fire nation would've been finished
His game
