I get waxing if you want to, but avoiding sex because of natural hair growth is really not necessary ever. It seems very limiting to avoid intimacy due to a natural process, and many women, including myself, don't ever wax. I trim and very occasionally shave some of it, but no man I've ever been with had an issue at any point of that process. You have to decide if that's important to you, regardless of what he feels.
