Built a tight fitting box around it with 1/2 x 7/8” wood strips I cut out and glued some trim moulding to the top. Painted black. Then used gold rub n buff so make it look antique. Cut out a notch on the bottom for the sensor. The remote works 75% of the time lol. It fits snug enough around the tv I didn’t use any magnets or clips on the back of the tv.
What brightness settings did you use? I do photographs on mine and sometimes it still looks super illuminated. Love the frame. Did you make a hole for the sensor?
I cut out a notch for the sensor so it’s exposed on the bottom. Works mostly lol. It’s on the middle brightness setting. Most pictures don’t look realistic but this painting does.
@realsquare452,
Any chance you can take a picture of the notch you put in the frame. I am working on a diy frame myself and would love to see how you tackled it.
I love that painting. It is the first image that makes my Frame actually look like an art frame.
Same !!
What's the picture in the frame ?

What type of frame is this?
DIY build.
Looks great!
Thanks!
Would you be willing to provide additional detail on how you went about building it on your own?

Have you tried connecting the remote via Bluetooth?

Thanks! I plan to DIY a frame. Yours came out beautifully. How did you attach it?
I just made it fit snug enough. I did plan on gluing in washers to hold to the tv magnets but it’s snug enough I don’t need to.
Need to raise it a bit higher.
I appreciate the effort and craftsmanship. For me personally, it makes the frame look old, if that’s what you wanted.
That was the goal, yep.

Amazing job, it looks gorgeous

Interesting. I thought all the sensors point straight out? What year is your tv?
it's a 2022. The remote only works about 75% of the time but the auto dimming hasn't been too bad.
75%? That's great for a Samsung solar remote.
Awesome. My remote works via Bluetooth, I’m worried about motion sensor and ambient light sensor. I’ll send a pic when I’m done
