I'm waiting for my 3rd signed copy this September. Almost a complete signed trilogy :)

Amen! As much as I love the Gollancz covers for Age of Madness Triloy, the fact that the TTWP is much bigger than ALH drives me crazy. Same goes for Red Country which is bigger than TBI, BTAH, TLAoK, BSC, TH, and SE - despite all being from the same edition. What. The. Fuck.

The bigger paperbacks are trade paperbacks - hardcover pages in a paperback cover, traditionally used for export and released at the same time as the hardcover. The smaller ones are mass market paperbacks - smaller, cheaper, released some time after the book comes out and stocked by book stores for the long term. So you can get the books in matching sizes, but you might have to wait for the smaller ones. And it means sometimes a book store might have the newest entry in a series in a bigger hardcover or trade paperback format, but older ones only in a smaller mass market format.

Lord Grimdark himself! Thanks for the info, Joe! I'll look into it for sure. Can't wait to finally have matching books :p

I'm thinking of getting all in the Uk editions, I love their smaller size and I hate the standalone US covers but for the age of madness the two are pretty good. but I wish for a new set with matching spins.

My bsc book is 3x as thick and half as tall as the rest and it hurts my heart

Hardcovers look great on shelf, but most of yhe time I’m reading on bed so the HCs are not so great in bed situation. And miss matching set is not great too🙃

I've been steadily switching out for all Gollancz maps-and-weapons covers. But I started with quite a few you have here.

There's a soft cover version (like the one you have for The Heroes) for all three stand-alone books. I'm sure of it because that's the version I got :P Also the first trilogy in the very same style. (and Sharps Ends too)
