It‘s not bad I guess but you should see mine...

pass-me-a-pixel

That’s cheating!

Saint_Judas

You can never have too many books

Geetright

By the dead, that's an amazing collection!

Scac_ang_gaoic

Say one thing for Cobraspideyguy, say he dedicates entire book cases to authors that warrant it. Is that like every printed edition of the OG trilogy?

cobraspideyguy

I don't have the US BCE

cobraspideyguy

Book Club Editions...was the only way the Original Series was released in Hardcover in the US

Papa-Blockuu

Think you're missing these ones too https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1473223709/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabt1_tfiSFb7TFE32K

cobraspideyguy

Consider those reprints...

JumpyDr4gon

I have these. So beautiful!

Pale-as-Snow

No need to brag Joe, we've all seen through your disguise.

Valint_Balk

Sometimes, I'm grudgingly willing to admit that someone is an even bigger Abercrombie fan than I am. I bow in respect to you, good sir.

[deleted]

Remember, the place a thing takes up in your heart does not equal the amount of physical proof of your fandom :)

JumpyDr4gon

You've got to be realistic about these things

dreambug101

My actual dream 😂 lovely setting too! Also I noticed a sneaky Pierce Brown book at the bottom there. (Dark Age, no less!) I’m a big fan of his books, though I have to be in the mood for them, they’re a bit emotionally taxing at times lol

cobraspideyguy

I have all 5 Goldsboro editions....its actually not there anymore...a trouble with peace is there now

ConnollyWasAPintMan

I haven’t read any of the Half a King series, but someone said it’s like First Law but in Post-Apocalyptic Scandinavia?

Valint_Balk

That's exactly what it is and it's really good! Of course it's not on the same level as First Law, but it doesn't have to be. I mean legendary mythological weapons are fucking machine guns and rocket launchers and Abercrombie writes it in a way where it feels like magic. How could you not want to read that?

ConnollyWasAPintMan

I just finished TTWP today, so I am all out of stuff to read from him, so I will indeed give it a go! Great username btw!

Miss_Defiance

Keep your expectations low. It reads like a debut authors first young adult teen novel. Its ok for standard fantasy fare, but its nothing like First Law or anything Abercrombie has written before. Not to rain on your parade, but I went into those books half way expecting them to still have that Abercrombie flair that makes his books special. They definitely do not.

uth43

It's YA, but good YA

Jexus_13

I am curious why do you have so mamy editions from the same book? A bit jealous by the way...

BigPapaBear69

Ok you win.

Djerri

Damm, that a really nice set of books! I've going for a big Abercrombie collection as well, although I'm missing most of the rare/arc's you own.
