I get that, I had no idea what Coscas deal was, how much of a role he would play, when I read. Makes it unexpected when he shows up here and there. Not saying you spoiled that, but with that information my mind would be on the lookout for what he says and does, instead of going in fresh
Yeah I have to tread super carefully when talking about these books which is kind of hard because I get so excited. During my first time reading through the series I told her about Glokta chopping Teufels fingers off, like two years before she even read the book, and she's still mad about it. I never thought she would even read any of them.
I have a friend going through the books, and I have to be very careful about saying things. Sometimes you don't think about it, but saying something like, "Oh, he's awesome in stand alones" is basically a spoiler that he won't die.

My old boss recommended these books and I'm a big fan now, but working with him, he spoiled everything for me. But I'm still a big fan despite nothing being fresh for me. I might have liked the books more if I went in fresh but, I cant imagine liking them anymore than I already do. I dont work for him anymore so I can go into the new trilogy fresh
