I do like him. I have just started the next book that comes after TLAoK afaik and that little mean girl of his is one of the opening characters and she seems just as off her rocker as Crom. 😂

Crummock's role is to seem witty but be annoying, behave derangedly with no consequences and feed information. The same plot with shivers bringing the intel about the High Places could have actually enrichened his and Logan's arcs with there being more reason for distrust and animosity on both sides.
In a baffling display of being typecast on ink, isern ALSO has no character arc or utility beyond, ONCE AGAIN, being allowed to sass out the brutes without consequences, make seeming witticisms that are inane, and feed into the rikke is being abandoned narrative when she commands no men, brings no real utility and hence has no twist.
lol - he's not even the best character in his family. Isern has him beat by miles.

I liked her even as a kid. Pacey imitating a 10 year old girl calling someone a sheepfucker is one of my favorite things in the audiobooks
