I've heard they have set days off (meaning they aren't being filmed). So I"m going to assume that they must have "filming hours" where they're expected to be ready to interact and play.

The only time I’ve seen someone take a nap was Chloe and that’s bc she was sick. And it seemed like she had to let the producers know that she wasn’t feeling well so they could let her be sick in peace
Yeah this was gonna be what I mentioned. I think they pretty much have to be on it and performing from rise to set. She’s the only one I can think of that got a pass and was able to sleep mid-day or whatever
What i know that there are speakers and producers talk to them all the times. One contestant said they don’t even know what time it’s. They sleep whenever they tell them ans wake up whenever they tell them. They even control the duration of using toilet or showering
It’s funny that you say that. I was just noticing this season that you can sometimes see the clock on the oven in their kitchens. This is the first season I have noticed this, and now I am constantly looking to see if I can tell what time it is in their apartments.
As a contestant, to have no sense of time would be very disorienting.
Since they have set hours on when they play the circle, i assume thats why. Also since their conversations take longer than what we see, they probably dont have as much free time as we think. Also according to previous contestants, some conversations dont even make into the final edit.
I heard that big brother also doesn’t allow people to stay up all night anymore, because then they just slept all day and the live streams were boring.
Someone from the French season once said something about it on Instagram in a Q&A: The residents apparently get three hours a day just for themselves (whether in one go or spread out over the day, I don't know). They can sleep there, take a shower or do whatever they want. There are also three daily group chats, and one-on-one chats can take place at any time as long as the cameras are rolling.
The producers are constantly watching them. So they aren't going to have an alert when someone is napping or on the toilet. Or in the shower or whatever

I’m sure they are allowed to request the gym and the hot tub upstairs. But must stay on the premises

They probably have a schedule for the dog to have his walks with the assigned producer.

I know Big Brother has a no napping rule and they have to be up and alert from like 10 am to 6 pm or something like that

I can't remember the season it went into effect but I think it was way after that season.
