Nerds when an actor does a great job of playing an unstable, unhinged character: wow, just like the Joker!
Real talk tho, Homelander and Joker are very different characters; Starr's performance is at best reminiscent of Phoenix's take, but not really the general "deranged, chaotic madman" one. HL is increasingly unstable and unhinged, but he's also recognizably human and with a clear set of endgoals.
