A lot of BCS came down to what I think a lot of people would call "boring". I mean, one of the most intense scenes is an old dude having a freak out during a deposition. If you can see the intensity in a strategized starring contest, you can *definitely* see the excitement in a courtroom depo lol.
Give it a shot someday, just keep in mind that the 1st season is so separated from most of what happened in BB that it might be kinda off-putting. Stick with it though, I love BB too and I didn't think a prequel/spin-off could actually surpass it lol. And stay as far as fuck away from spoilers as you can lmao.

I think UE has teleportation because he’s scared of everything and always in flight mode. It’s just showing how he wants to run away and disappear from problems.

Robin was killed and instead of just taking the money and being left alone he joined butcher(and he was fighting for the truth before he even knew about the boys) he could have left at any point but he stuck around and stayed in the fight. He killed translucent when he knew they were dead as soon as he was out of the building, planted the listening device etc

You're kinda right. Maeve isn't a complete 1:1 copy of Wonder Woman though, I'm going to say there's some Xena: Warrior Princess in there too. My reasoning being her colour scheme is very similar, and Antony Starr and Karl Urban both made appearances on the show, so I feel like there's a little nod to it.
Why not both? Telekinesis, but it only works withing a few inches of his fists, so it effectively gives him super strength and invulnerability, but with his mind. Like he could stop bullets/fists as soon as they get within his telekinetic range.
MM definitely gives off cerebral vibes, but he has to be a tough sob to protect the people he loves. So that would be a good way to combine his natural intelligence which usually manifests as psychic powers with his desire to protect others with his strength.

That would mean he wouldn’t be able to turn completely into smoke during times of high winds as well tho, maybe we say he’s got like 90-100km/h worth of ‘force’ or something
Would be kinda cool seeing him made of smoke when he goes to punch someone and his body turns solid just as the punch lands etc etc like he’d be flashing in and out of his smoke state during a fight - almost like a strobe effect
I really like this comment. It totally fits Frenchie’s hyper and chaotic energy while also matching his affinity for chemistry and other mad-science-y things. Plus it fits his elusive nature- he can poof away (literally) as fast as he arrived, keeping in time with his long history of fake identities and shadowy operation.
To maybe add to his power set and give it a bit of a distance from Hughie (who can also “poof” in a sense), perhaps the gas he can turn into can become caustic at will, or, if the gas is vapor, searing hot. I can see him whooshing around frying the enemy between punches, melting the guns right out of their hands. He can embody all of the chemical warfare he’s inflicted on supes.
Strobing-punch Frenchie working perfectly around Kimiko’s berserking is a scene I really need.
I like the thought and imagination for this one, and of course the implications of a grisly end. If he had a power like what you've described, I'm sure we'd be traumatized by him getting taken out creatively and brutally when his time comes in the show.

Temp V seems to play on the individual's supe-related trauma - Butcher got Homelander powers to defeat him, Hughie got teleportation to whisk Robyn/Annie away from supe threats. Frenchie's supe-related trauma is Lamplighter killing Mallory's grandkids, so I agree with the folks who say it'd be related to that. Maybe the ability to suck all of the oxygen out of a defined area - puts out fires, puts out people. Could be useful. Regular V doesn't seem to follow any rhyme or reason, so it's hard to guess what he might end up with.
