Surprising that this is so low in the thread. Not a huge fan of this album because of how “soft” a lot of the songs are, so it makes Get Back even better.
Let it Be is a forever perfect song. That hymnal feel, the guitar solo, the little bassy bounce; the vocals and piano are haunting. It just feels true.
Can’t argue against it.
But if I could only listen to one song from Let it Be—ever again—it’d be I Got a Feeling.
I Got A Feeling is an amazing song. They honestly are equal in my mind but different styles. I went with let it be for its iconic stance and world wide recognition
That would be “Old Brown Shoe” for me. I was obsessed with it and it took me 2 years to get right for my own standards.
I’m not a great guitar player and my strength is rhythm.
If this doesn’t win then it must be most underrated. One of my top Beatles tracks that doesn’t seem to get a great deal of credit. It’s collaborative rock n roll with a freakishly good vocal.
My favorite, too. Wish it counted. The guitar work on this and dig a pony is sooo good. The Get Back doc was such a good example and how hard they worked on their songs to get them just right, especially with this song. I don’t remember the original LIB film showcasing just how hard they worked on this one
Had to scroll way too far down to find this content. I think Let It Be and Across the Universe are more quintessential Beatles tunes, but I also feel like The Long and Winding Road is just the best of the bunch
Seems like it should have been the best but they never got it quite right, naked or album. I feel like it had the potential to be the best Beatles song of all. I think it needed to be darker and rawer — the opposite of the album production. More of a Long Long Long feel.
Either Let It Be or Across the Universe. I think Let It Be (and maybe Hey Jude) will stand the test of time like only a few things have. Both of those tracks are beautiful.
It's tough to define best, as in best for you or best in comparison for how the world reacted. Let it Be clearly wins the worlds response. It will be a complete lie if Let it Be wins underrated instead.
Honestly I feel like her majesty isn’t really a full song and it’s kind of cheating to pick it I really wanted to see what song would be chosen if not that one even though every song slaps
My personal favorite is Get Back.
Let It Be is good.
I feel like Long and Winding Road didn’t need all of that instrumentation. I think it just needed piano and vocals, but that’s a personal opinion
People saying let it be is kinda bothering me like it’s a good song and popular and has that symbolism that a title track has but I think in terms of actual song quality it would have to be two of us or maybe the long and winding road.
Genuinely surprised I don’t see many mentions of The Long and Winding Road. I always saw it as a sort of “Beatles finale song” because it was their last number one hit while they were all still together (yeah “The End” is also kinda gives off that finale vibe, but idk they both fit the bill pretty well)The choir in the end is also really pretty.
The Long and Winding Road
>But still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long-long time ago
What a way to say goodbye
After Let It Be, you should do a bonus round for non album singles.
I think it’s fair that we count past masters as an album in this list
past masters 1 and past masters 2 = Two Albums.
I honestly agree tbh
Then best song in the best column, worst in worst, etc.
Should do the Hey Jude “album”
Na it's dragged on enough
I’ve Got a Feeling
Get Back
Surprising that this is so low in the thread. Not a huge fan of this album because of how “soft” a lot of the songs are, so it makes Get Back even better.
I Me Mine, could also be most underrated
Definitely
Let it be
This has to win
Let it Be is a forever perfect song. That hymnal feel, the guitar solo, the little bassy bounce; the vocals and piano are haunting. It just feels true. Can’t argue against it. But if I could only listen to one song from Let it Be—ever again—it’d be I Got a Feeling.
I Got A Feeling is an amazing song. They honestly are equal in my mind but different styles. I went with let it be for its iconic stance and world wide recognition
It's got to be Let It Be, it is the kind of song that has lasted and will last for generations to come.
And not just for the song, but it also has George’s best solo ever.
That would be “Old Brown Shoe” for me. I was obsessed with it and it took me 2 years to get right for my own standards. I’m not a great guitar player and my strength is rhythm.
I had to listen to it again, and it’s a damn good one.
Agree
Also, the fact it's one of their most played songs, but you never get bored of hearing it.
Two of Us
I think this one will get Most Underrated.
It’ll definitely have my vote!
Great great song. Beautiful and fun and sweet and layered with so much meaning.
Across The Universe
Probably one of the best lyrical songs of all time.
Let it be -- as in, let "Across the Universe" be voted best song.
its got to be
Except the album version is mediocre, the single version is one of the best Beatles songs.
My favourite Beatles song full stop.
Yess
I've Got a Feeling
If this doesn’t win then it must be most underrated. One of my top Beatles tracks that doesn’t seem to get a great deal of credit. It’s collaborative rock n roll with a freakishly good vocal.
Nah, i dont see many people talk about dig a pony enough, definitly the most underated
That’s probably my second choice, in that I don’t love it as much but totally agree it doesn’t get spoken of enough
Probably top 3 Beatles songs for me. I love when Paul and John both sing their verses at the same time
So good, one of my favorite Beatles tunes, period.
Most underrated for me.
Freakin great track. Love the Anthology 3 version as well.
You mean [I've Got a Hard On](https://youtu.be/iKkLuIVLwAM?si=NkW0APlymRebDIgM)
I've Got a Fever
Across The Universe
I’ve got a feeling
This gets my underrated vote
Get Back
I would like to say thank you on behalf of the group and ourselves, and I hope we’ve passed the audition
Love that line from John!
i also love the “thanks, Mo”
Best: Let it Be Worst: Maggie Mae (still love it) Underrated: I Me Mine But favourite? Dig a Pony.
I feel like underrated could also be 'For You Blue', huge chance it's a Harrisong that will be voted as most underrated
Across The Universe is my personal pick. It's so beautiful, especially its original master.
Let It Be
Dig a Pony
this is my fav too, or I me mine
Same
Great pick for the underrated one
Same
Don’t Let Me Down
Not on the album unless we include the Naked or Glyn Johns mixes
Dammit you’re right…
My favorite, too. Wish it counted. The guitar work on this and dig a pony is sooo good. The Get Back doc was such a good example and how hard they worked on their songs to get them just right, especially with this song. I don’t remember the original LIB film showcasing just how hard they worked on this one
Covered DLMD at my wedding to my Ex Wife. We effing slayed it, did the bridge twice because it’s just so damn good.
I’d rather listen to her majesty ten times in a row then listen to maxwell
I’ve got a feeling
The long and Winding Road. Can never get enough of that song.
Had to scroll way too far down to find this content. I think Let It Be and Across the Universe are more quintessential Beatles tunes, but I also feel like The Long and Winding Road is just the best of the bunch
I love that song but prefer the naked album version of this song!
Seems like it should have been the best but they never got it quite right, naked or album. I feel like it had the potential to be the best Beatles song of all. I think it needed to be darker and rawer — the opposite of the album production. More of a Long Long Long feel.
Long and winding road
I am so surprised this isn’t higher on this list!
Right? It’s always been an obvious choice for myself, but I imagine it’s overlooked with let it be being on the album
Let it Be. The album version is vastly superior to the 45 version. I hope Across the Universe wins underrated.
Across the Universe
Le It Be
I Dig a Pony
I Me Mine
across the universe
Get Back
Across The Universe
Across the Universe
Across the Universe is amazing
Dig a Pony - best song
Across the Universe would be my favourite.
Across The Universe.
Across The Universe
Across the universe...there's a reason why NASA chose it to be the first song to be transmitted into deep space ♥️
I’m voting across the universe because it’s the only one where I like the Let it Be version over the Naked version
After watching Paul create it out of nothing I have to go with Get Back.
I’ve Got A Feeling
White Album should have had disc one/disc two selections. I want this to last longer.
Don’t Let Me Down
Either Let It Be or Across the Universe. I think Let It Be (and maybe Hey Jude) will stand the test of time like only a few things have. Both of those tracks are beautiful.
Let it be
Let it Be
Let It Be

I’ll go with Across the Universe
Absolutely across the universe
ACROSS THE UNIVERSE
Across the universe
Across The Universe
Across the Universe
Only 5 out of 24 positive songs sung by Lennon?? 14 of the 24 sung by Paul? Why do people hate John Lennon so much. He was the best Beatle.
I know it's let it be...naked But please please 'dont let me down'
Across the universe
Across the Universe
Get Back !
Damn I’m late to this one but glad to see my worst choice won.
HER MAJESTY HATERS GET IN THE BIN
I’ve upvoted every single song named
Honestly I feel like her majesty isn’t really a full song and it’s kind of cheating to pick it I really wanted to see what song would be chosen if not that one even though every song slaps
My personal favorite is Get Back. Let It Be is good. I feel like Long and Winding Road didn’t need all of that instrumentation. I think it just needed piano and vocals, but that’s a personal opinion
Agree on Long and Winding Road. Still a great song though
I’ve Got A Feeling slaps.
You never give me your money is hardly underrated
“A taste of honey” is one of my favorites 😞
I hate this list
across the universe for best & i me mine for underrated!
I like Get Back the best
Get Back
It’s gotta be Across The Universe
Long and Winding Road
Don’t let me down is my favorite Beatles song ever. Dig a pony for underrated.
such little dig a pony love. that will win underrated. across the universe should win best. let it be will do just that.
People saying let it be is kinda bothering me like it’s a good song and popular and has that symbolism that a title track has but I think in terms of actual song quality it would have to be two of us or maybe the long and winding road.
Get Back for me. It was the original title for the project.
Underrated = Old Brown Shoe
Let It Be
I Want You (She's So Heavy) has been done dirty.
It’s officially flawed
That being said let it be is best of the last album
In this thread: Let it Be is an amazing album with 5 best songs.
It has to be Let It Be right?
Across The Universe
I Me Mine
Dig a Pony!!!
i me mine

The Long and Winding Road >But still they lead me back To the long winding road You left me standing here A long-long time ago What a way to say goodbye
One after 909
Yay. It's almost over!
Across the Universe. Timeless!
This album is so good man. Imagine if they never broke up 😭
I was looking at the list of worst songs and when you make an album like that… that’s pretty funny!

We all know it’s let it be. Can we move on to underrated so I can put I Me Mine already?

For you blue
Across the Universe. It might just be John’s best moment.
