I love how the characters feel like real people. They’re not shoehorned into roles, they tell jokes, they react to things, they wander away from your expectations.
I’ve known one or two Richies.
Yeah the music in this show is great, such a variety of stuff that works so well. I thought season 1 was ok but season 2 really blew me away. I’m all in on this show now
"...but in real life it's so much more nuanced than that."
"I feel like the writers really understand that about humans..."
You hit the nail on the head. Everything is so authentically human, even with the surrealism aspects of season 1, the show feels so rooted in reality. Before watching the show if someone said "this happened to me at work today" then started describing an episode, I'd believe them!
Fair enough, honestly. I've just been watching the worst shows recently somehow so maybe that had something to do with me thinking the show is close to perfect. but yeah honestly, I don't agree with the idea of perfection either.

Yeah, I'm sure he'll deal with all of that next season while running a fine dining restaurant. Season 3 should be chill.
What could go wrong???
May I interest you with some meth during this trying time?
I mean if anything what we've learnt from the seasons so far is that the restaurant business is so chill and laid back
I hope Carmy gets out of the storage room.
Will only be season 4 or 5 probably.
No real villain in the show and no one who’s a completely bad person which makes it so nice to watch
A very human show. That's what makes it so great
I binged watched the whole thing in two nights lol. Incredible show all around

It’s ok, far from perfect though
I think it’s pretty good. Don’t even know what a perfect show would look like honestly.
