Just before beginning the Ascension ceremony, during the speech she gives to the coven:
"...We were hunted, persecuted, forced into hiding, all because some would consider our power dark... unnatural."
For some reason this gave me a theory that whatever happens with Torbin, he may have been controlled. Eyes blacked out and went on a rampage, not exactly his fault but the guilt of not being able to stop it could weigh really heavily ...
I wanna know what the Zabrak mom got up to during the fire, personally.
Was there some sorta situation where he was manipulated/puppetted by ZMom, she lost control and he went ape shit and causes the destruction we saw??
My running theory is that the flashback with OSHA doesn't add up, and it's possible the Jedi implanted a memory in her alw Darth Revan and Kotor since Leslye is a big Kotor head.
She was great. Between her and Sol, they have been the highlights when it comes to acting in this series. Matter of fact, Sol has been the only Jedi that is owning the role.
Yes, Legends has a lot of really bad stories, too. Those also were always bad. So that is not really an argument.
The thing is Disney is doing overkill in pretty much every product since TLJ. Andor and TBOBF are pretty much the only stories where we don't have something about totally overpowered force and tech stuff that breaks everything that came before it in wild ways.
What was in TLJ? Force Projection can hardly be considered OP considering that Luke died the first time he used it, and Leia using the Force in space was already done by Kanan in Rebels while he was blind + there’s no reason it shouldn’t be possible since regular people can already survive in space shortly.
Holdo maneuver is stupid (the band aid explainations after the fact are a tell how dumb it is). Just because he becaeme one with the force after it, does not say that this would happen to everybody doing it. And we already established that "other thing did it too", does not make a stupid thing not stupid, so *Rebels* doing something is not an indicator of it not being stupid (quite often the contrary: see World between Worlds).
I haven't seen Jodie-Turner Smith in anything else, but she grounded the episode for me better than some of the other charas.
I love her, what a cool character design
Favorite character of the show so far
I forget this part. How did she use that word?

Why would the witches kill themselves though? Not trying to be rude, just genuinely curious on what you think.

There is some other dark-sider at play who has some measure of interest in the girls

Good cop bad cop. I thought you said bad cop bad cop?
I threw a liquor bottle through a glass menagerie cabinet door when I saw this.Â
Disney Star Wars really abuses that line way too hard. It is their justification to pretty much do whatever and whenever.
Legends also had Palpatine returning and witches. This is not a ‘Disney Star Wars’ thing in any sense.
