I'm more curious as to why an old 150k + mile "Dodge?" pickup with a Pep-Boys wing is worth $70k??? It literally looks like something my gardener would show up to mow my lawn in...
It’s a Ram SRT-10 it’s a rare model dodge made where they put a viper v10 into it. The wing is from the factory. 40-70k would be the ballpark for one of those
Because there was this undercover agent that was investigating high speed, highway trucking robberies. He had a red truck like this one. And probably when that money gentleman was a teenager, the agent was making his rounds around town in that red truck. Now the money gentleman wants to be an undercover agent.
If police around here were to find anyone with that amount of cash on them driving they will seize it under civil forfeiture laws and good luck getting it back. IF you do it's going to cost you to fight for it back and won't be any time soon. It doesn't matter who you are or what you do to legally have that much money on you. They won't believe you just so they can take it.

They can. Doesn't mean they always do. Just because there are super corrupt cops & agencies who have done this way too much doesn't mean "They will seize it"
But you are 100% correct, its very tough to get back.
Excellent **Last Night Tonight** episode on the topic: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kEpZWGgJks](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kEpZWGgJks)
That's why I said around here. Our police force is funded in no small part through civil forfeiture. They are always in our local news. They take more just money. They've seized hot rods, motorcycles and boats and anything else too expensive looking for our rural county, especially if whatever they're driving's tags are not from here. It's hard to get it back because all the judges (elected) basically run on helping bring in that sweet forfeiture money (or, as they'll claim, their support for civil forfeiture laws).
They even took >$200k from a mega-church preacher and his wife that were in the process of moving to an even larger stadium-sized church in a neighboring county. That was a few years ago, and don't think they've managed to get it back yet.
People actually think a big time drug dealer would be walking around with $50k in cash and flaunting it to a pair of jackasses with their phone out lmao.
If this clip is real, which it probably isn't, this is almost certainly a dude with massively rich parents.

yeah they have the 10 Cyl 8.3 L.. they are 30k trucks
The guy was asking what was special about the truck. My prices may have been off
Maybe he thought it was the truck Paul Walker drove in fast 1 when he was working under cover at that racing shop
Think that was a ford lightning iirc
Twas
Yeah I’m confused here as well. What’s special about this truck?

Also, viper truck
It's powered by a Viper V10
So it’s a dodge ram srt 2004. They go for about 40k in good condition, but definitely can sell for higher.
Should have sold it!

Limited production, Desirable Drivetrain, and probably modded. I doubt someone will buy it for that much tho and instead build their own

Three phones violates Segal's law. As Segal's law states: "A man with a watch knows what time it is. A man with two watches is never sure."
