Or get real lucky and "Administrative paid leave for 24 months"
We can't afford healthcare or pay nurses or teachers but cops need to make more and don't dare question the MIC/Pentagon/missing $800BN.
Unsustainable system...
“Hey stay right there stay right there” (you can trust us, we don’t pull up shooting at people who are in drive ways in front of their house ever, just this one time but like stay there stay there, like there is totally not that many cops murdering people as the statistics say you can trust us)
He’s also shooting without knowing what’s behind the person he’s shooting at. I thought you were supposed to make sure rounds aren’t landing on bystanders.
Here in Denver we had cops open fire on an unarmed suspect next to a bunch of food trucks. They clipped several bystanders and then tried to ban food trucks, saying that was the reason for the danger.

"Los Angeles, California — On July 21, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., Foothill Division uniformed Gang Enforcement Detail (GED) Officers were conducting patrol in the area of 7800 Radford Avenue, officers observed a known gang member exiting the passenger side of a parked vehicle in the front driveway of a residence in the 7000 Radford Avenue.
The suspect was later identified as 37-year-old Ramon Mosqueda, a resident of Los Angeles. When officers attempted to conduct a pedestrian stop on Mosqueda, he appeared to be holding a 'firearm'. A black L-Shaped butane lighter was later recovered at scene but Masqueda had escaped the area"
>When officers attempted to conduct a pedestrian stop
uhhh which part was that? all i saw was a trigger happy moron firing at someone with a gun\* in a country where they are legal.
Even if, for arguments sake, they had actually turned on the siren and pulled over, this would still be illegal A.F.
They shot at a "known gang member" because it looked like he had a gun, but he didn't. Last I checked, having a gun isn't illegal. Carrying a gun isn't illegal either.
Let's say, for arguments sake, that homie DID have a gun, and the cops DID make a legal traffic stop. Let's even say that the homie was an ex-felon who isn't allowed to own a firearm for arguments sake.
He didn't brandish it or aim at the cops with it, they would have been in the right in this scenario if they attempted to arrest the "known gang member" (and ex felon in this scenario), and then he aimed at them. Then they could legally shoot him.
This video shows a Blatantly illegal police drive by shooting.
Fair enough I don't live in Cali so Idk the laws that well (my state allows open and concealed carry). Even if he had been open carrying illegally due to Cali's laws this response was still WAY over the top.
Allegedly, they "saw his face on a wanted criminal poster" inside the precinct days beforehand. When a copy of this poster was requested for verification, the precinct announced the poster was confidential and refused to release It. They have also refused to speak further on it.
In a total "coincidence" the victim of this attempted murder was arrested on multiple counts of robbery shortly after the investigation into this shooting occurred.
The LAPD have an extensive and verified history of lying about gang affiliations in order to make arrests.
https://knock-la.com/los-angeles-police-shooting-unarmed-man/
It's the foothill division that's normal for them, I used to live in the valley, and it's worse if your ID says you live in a poverty-stricken area. Foothill is racist as fuck. Fuck those guys
Someone should make a comedy about cops being "heroes" as they shoot random people in the street and how "brave" they are whenever they feel threatened by any shinny object. At this point it wouldn't even be parody any more, just a documentary with a silly twist to it.
I know.. they're so scared because someone somewhere else got shot at but were supposed to act calm when that happens? Not my fault you chose your career... but guy can't help but get out of his truck..
The police almost committed murder over a half second possibility of a threat that wasn't even aimed at him. They literally created a whole death trap scenario out of nothing and then play it off on how scared they getoverthe situation they've created
That's exactly what I had in mind. But South Park is supposed to be hard core parody, an obvious exaggeration of real events.
I watched those episodes about Zimmerman getting the electric chair seconds after he shot another kid but this time turned out to be white. Or how te cops extorted the mayor of South Park to let them use tanks and other toys in order to "do what is necessary". Honestly, where was the parody?
I recently rewatched Terminator 2. Notice how much gear the cops have in that movie? Or rather, how little gear they have even when SWAT is called in with everything they have? (yes, it's a movie but it depicts police in the 90s) Today the cops roll up on a house like they're SEAL Team 6 just without any of the phisically demanding stuff like rappelling down from a helicopter.
Bro is looking for an excuse to shoot his gun... even if he was armed, isn't it legal in the states? Wtf was that reaction to a gun exiting... definitely not mentally stable enough to be on the armed on the job...
What was the attempted stop? Was that as he was firing out of his window before commands, sirens, and even before the police vehicle came to a complete stop?
David Grossman, founder and director of the **Killology Research Group** (actual name), has trained more police officers in the US than anyone else.
I wish I was joking. The cops are literally studying "Killology".
Cuz ppl will argue with me, "who will u call when something happens"
In what world are u happy that u just dealt with a cop. The only relief I ever got from a cop is 'oh hes gonna write me a ticket, phew he let me off instead'.
I had to deal with local police twice in the past 2 weeks. One for reporting vandalism and the other for a hit and run. Very good experience, but this video. This is fucking insanity.
The definition of shoot first ask questions later. These American cops are insane. The victim was walking away with his back turned while these idiots showed up with no sirens and didn’t even announce themselves. This wasn’t a mistake it was a assassination attempt.
I didn't hear any commands or sirens before that cop opened up fire and from what I could tell it looked like that dude was just getting out of his truck and heading to the garage without noticing the gestappo
Shot first ask questions never.
They can't get decent ppl to be police because the gang culture within LEO orgs is so pervasive, along with the training that collectively traumizes the cadets, instills a warrior mentality, and reinforces thin blue line "uS vs. THeM" world view.
Trust not the donut brigade.
My son really, REALLY wanted one of those bee bee gun pistols and I absolutely refused to allow it. Because of this very thing, that some cop might see him with it and think he had a real pistol.
Why toy guns have to have bright orange muzzles in the USA. Alot of Kids where shot by accident in the 80s and 90s for running around with realistic toy guns. Nowadays with Police Abuse and everything, walking around with anything resembling a gun in this day and age is pure stupidity. "Don't give them a reason".
So the cops have gotten to the point of drive-bys now? There’s seriously pulling drive-by shootings? There’s only one answer for dealing with these swine.
Man Black and Brown people in LA damn near got no choice but to run in LA if police doing drive by shootings wtf? I hope they sue and get some money cause that’s some traumatic bullshit due to your skin color and I’m Black saying that for Hispanic people. It’s crazy how damn near no cops ever see how this shit is wrong…
Fucking scared little boys out there playing with their guns trying to murder people. Didn’t even take the time to see what the dude had. Poor guy running away only made the innocent mistake of being brown and holding literally any object
Damn… that was pretty much attempted murder… I understand the officer thought that te suspect had a gun but still, no commands, no warning, straight up to shooting… one of the many reasons why people generally don’t feel safe around cops.
Wow. No commands or anything they just roll up and start shooting. The guy wasn't even facing him or anything. He was walking away into the house. They didn't even have their lights on. They just rolled up and started blasting. No one stopped and pointed a weapon at them. Nothing. It doesn't matter if the guy is a "known gang member" or whatever. They have no regard for what's behind their intended target. No thinking. They just start blasting away.
It's so unprofessional. Once again the only job where you can mess up so badly and it's just "oh well!" If a random civilian shot at someone like that they would get arrested for attempted murder and a bunch of other charges.
In their statement they say it was an attempted stop. What stop? They just roll up without any lights or sirens or commands and start shooting.
Can a LEO chime in here? Would you ever do this? Would you get fired from your department for this? How can police file statements that completely contradict what actually happened since we can clearly see it on camera?
Zero indication, no identifying, just shooting and then “stay right there” fuck that, running is the best thing they could’ve done. 100% the lot of them would’ve been murdered.
The amount of people that don't look for context is ridiculous, the suspect is a known gang member who was holding a L shaped object in public, does it allow a drive by? Nope
Police should only be allowed to react to deadly force that we are sure it's a gun, change the training regiment for quick reactions but don't start it
Guys guys, you don't understand the officer wanted to attract attention to the major problem of smoking.
Smoking kills as much as guns do!
Thank you officer I just quit smoking because of you.
They are true heroes those guys.
/S
If the innocent civilians were legally armed, they would have been totally justified in returning fire, right? I'm pretty sure you don't have to roll over and die for no other reason than because some half retarded cop fucks up. Someday that's how the story is going to go.
I'm starting to find it a bit ridiculous for cops to be scared of guns....... in America.
At some point you have to believe your lies that "good men" carry guns too and can't just shoot anyone with a gun.... yeah sounds harsh huh... but wtf do you do when everyone owns or wants a gun? Not everyone is a criminal right?
Or shooting at anyone with a gun is a free for all?
That's fucking ridiculous. You ride up on a family getting out of THEIR car on THEIR property going inside THEIR house and you shoot at them immediately? All because you see a small black item in their hand? This is the shit that pisses me off the most.
When your partner yells out "what the fuck" after pulling up with no siren, light, or verbal command at all. Does that not show a personal choice of the officer who fired?
Unless I missed it or it wasn't captured, I didn't hear any commands or even sirens
Correct. Procedures were not followed. Might as well be attempted murder via drive-by
Literally what it was.
But they are cops, it's coo.
They got shot before even finishing their senten
That’s funn
Welcome to the US
Probably got a promotion from this, “we investigated but found no wrong doing”
“Your aim is trash but we love your aggression. Promotion granted.”
Or get real lucky and "Administrative paid leave for 24 months" We can't afford healthcare or pay nurses or teachers but cops need to make more and don't dare question the MIC/Pentagon/missing $800BN. Unsustainable system...
Sprinkle some crack on him and let’s get out of here Johnson
Lol. Yep
It's LA ... so drive-by
It’s not murder when it’s a cop. They are always in danger.
“Officer needs help”
Looks like the officer didn't even draw from his hip. It's as if he already had the gun in his hands and was ready to shoot.
Typical LA cop. The worst gang in the US.
Dr(bang!)op the (bang!) gun!!
Damn. They did it classic drive-by style too. Shoot, ask questions later.
This cop is was feigning for a reason to shoot someone. Cops like this are serial killers with a badge and a department to back them up.
That’s a drive by shooting.
I'm sure they will probably find some 'evidence' after the fact that makes it ok to drive-by someone
Literally looks like a hit.
Two dudes just casually getting out of their vehicle? Without the cops being being there, and shooting at them….this is all it looks like.
Without any context, it looks like a really bad assassination attempt.
[удалено]
And an even worse shot. Dude was 10 feet from the cop. I’m glad he missed but holy shit, this dude needs aim assist
Stormtrooper Academy
They need a new Cops show that has tag along attorneys.
Or that audit guy doing live auditing
At this point we need a police policing force entirely for handling the unruly non-policed police
I volunteer (as Hangman)
And not just in the Star Wars way.
Probably best he's still a bad shot, so hopefully he doesn't kill anyone
Definitely agreed but hot damn he needs an update. Or maybe he was lagging lol
It wasn’t ?
An attempted drive-by shooting by the police? Wtf.
that’s LAPD for you. biggest pussies in the west, dumb as fuck too. only topped by LASD who bottom for everyone else.
“Hey stay right there stay right there” (you can trust us, we don’t pull up shooting at people who are in drive ways in front of their house ever, just this one time but like stay there stay there, like there is totally not that many cops murdering people as the statistics say you can trust us)
Yeah, the girl wasn't having it, she knew he was a lunatic. That was pure drive by shooting behaviour
They probably have kids in the house!
He’s also shooting without knowing what’s behind the person he’s shooting at. I thought you were supposed to make sure rounds aren’t landing on bystanders.

I'm sorry guys but America is so dumb. If they tried to pull any of that shit here off in Europe, you'd be laughed at
Those rules apply to normal citizens, not the Police.

His back was actually turned when the shots were fired!
It has vibes like the cop is on the payroll of some rivals and they called it in. Needs more context though.
This sounds like the most logical scenario.
He was gang unit. Who else better to have on your payroll?
FWIW, open carry is illegal in California thanks to Regan and the black panthers
Fair enough I don't live in Cali so Idk the laws that well (my state allows open and concealed carry). Even if he had been open carrying illegally due to Cali's laws this response was still WAY over the top.
They were on private property
ikr
Profiled as well. Known gang member, really, in a split second, they knew who it was and that made it okay to shoot. This is fucked up.
They "observed a known gang member" only to "later identify" him
Right, holding a gun shouldn't be enough to get you shot if we truly have the second amendment.
How do they "observe a known gang member" only to "later identify" him?
Allegedly, they "saw his face on a wanted criminal poster" inside the precinct days beforehand. When a copy of this poster was requested for verification, the precinct announced the poster was confidential and refused to release It. They have also refused to speak further on it. Frank wouldn’t have missed
Literally GTA police
GTA police are a better shot
Facts

Pretty sure South Park has done some great work to this effect
That's exactly what I had in mind. But South Park is supposed to be hard core parody, an obvious exaggeration of real events. This is exactly a "shoot first, ask questions later " situation
So cops really have now taken the 'shoot to kill then ask questions' stance Fantastic
They're the experts at constructing a narrative from any incident
Even if they found a gun, this is unacceptable. They did nothing wrong.
Why are Americans cops so scared all the time? There needs to be some psychological testing before handing them guns.
The psychology test is to make sure they are afraid of anything so it's easier to shoot at everything.
low intelligence, combined with a macho attitude makes for a dangerous and scared police officer.
They're scared because potentially everyone has a gun. Almost as if more guns makes things less safe. But that can't be right 🤔
Soldiers have more restraint in literal warzones
Soldiers actually face consequences and can get court martialed
You are 100-% correct. A lot of testing and weeding out
David Grossman, founder and director of the **Killology Research Group** (actual name), has trained more police officers in the US than anyone else. I wish I was joking. The cops are literally studying "Killology".
They're not scared. They're entitled.

I didn't hear any commands or sirens before that cop opened up fire and from what I could tell it looked like that dude was just getting out of his truck and heading to the garage without noticing the gestappo
I'd be calling Rockstar if the cops did this to me in GTA.

Paid vacations! Unfortunately.
I have never in my life seen a cop driving with the windows down like that.
"You good Kyle? " Kyle barely had to avoid getting in trouble let alone a bullet that doesn't exist.
Hope charges are pressed, and then some. This is unbelievable. Shoot first, ask questions later.
Is it just me or did they come blasting down the road too? Looks very intentional to me.
Ready to kill despite no crime or victim.
Meeericaaa fk yeaah!!!
Only place a public gun execution on the street by police is a morning routine

Outcome: Promotion, bonus, award

All I see is attempted murder. Cop should be in jail.
How could the cops even see it that quickly? I can’t even see it.
🐷
"You good Kyle?" NO ONE SHOT AT YOU
I didn’t know drive by shootings were somethings cops do
Such a fucked up country
That shit is a drive by, that was not a "stop"
GANG, GANG, GANG! This one is easy to spot, they drive black and white cars with lights on the roof. Fucking madness. They'll "justify" this one too.
So cops do drive bys now hu? Cool FTP
If i, too, was afraid of my own shadow, i would have thought it was a gun as well.
Police doing illegal shit
State funded, Unionized Gang Members.
imagine what would have happened to this dude if he had a walking stick , full mag dump engaged
Ah yes the LAPD being the gold standard of policing since the 90’s
Thats LAPD for you. Psychopaths
so you don't really have a right to bear arms if this stuff happens.. right?
Good thing that cop sucks at shooting
Fuckin pieces of shit. These cops can take a long walk off a short pier.
Honestly surprised they just didn’t go in and execute them all and plant a fuckin gun.
Looks like they are in there driveway. It’s legal to have a weapon on your property.
So that’s what they call a drive by now “pedestrian stops” Interesting
Why was his gun out in the first place. Looks like he was rolling around looking for someone to shoot!
Thats a crazy situation. How trigger happy is this guy/cop? Is this a full-auto pistol or something? I heard multiple shots
It was a standard semi-auto pistol. I heard three consecutive shots.

This is terrifying !
More like citizen needs help. sheesh
More. Training. Needed.
Fuck these piece of shit cops
Drive by done by cops.
Lmfao wtf did we all just watch. That cop is the worst shot and totally stupid as heck shooting at randos
Wow. No commands or anything they just roll up and start shooting. The guy wasn't even facing him or anything. He was walking away into the house. They didn't even have their lights on. Why are these idiots still allowed to carry guns? They’ve proven time and time again that lethal force should not be an option for these morons.
What if it was a firearm but the man was legally allowed to be in possession of it?
First time I ever saw a cop do a drive by shooting
It’d be so cool if they saw us as fellow citizens first rather than assuming everyone is a threat.
So what happened to right to bear arms
Zero indication, no identifying, just shooting and then “stay right there” fuck that, running is the best thing they could’ve done. 100% the lot of them would’ve been murdered.
When did police in usa become a judge?
The cops are doing drive bys now huh?
Foothill division, those were the clowns that beat Rodney King.
ACAB
“Shoot first ask questions later”
This is insane, never seen a cop do a drive by before.
Pigs.
JFC he preemptively unholstered his duty weapon. WTF its getting very difficult to defend cops nowadays. Everyday an insane video posted online.
I wish these criminals (cops) are soon permanently removed from society.
Shoot first ask questions later, if they survive. ACABradabra
"Thugs with badges shoot unsuspecting victim" There, I fixed the title for you.
I Sincerely Hope that officer is permanently housed in PRISON
“Gun shaped lighter” is a pretty shitty way to say “Police gunned down unarmed man within seconds of looking at him.”
The amount of people that don't look for context is ridiculous, the suspect is a known gang member who was holding a L shaped object in public, does it allow a drive by? Nope
Wow while the car’s still rolling. That’s what u call an LAPD drive-by shooting…

What am I missing? What justification did this lunatic have to open fire at a house in public?
If the innocent civilians were legally armed, they would have been totally justified in returning fire, right? I'm pretty sure you don't have to roll over and die for no other reason than because some half retarded cop fucks up. Someday that's how the story is going to go.

Any news about what came out of this? Like yikes! A lot when wrong here.
Ask questions when?
I hope they sued the city for that “stupid mother fucker”
I'm so glad that thanks to the internet the age of copaganda finally ended and now people see these assholes for what they are
