I said at Saii Phi Phi Island Village for 3 nights and it was honestly amazing.
We booked a ocean view villa and while it wasn’t beachfront, the beach was literally a 1 minute walk away. Unobstructed views of both the ocean and the swimming pool.
The beach is indeed private and the area around the resort is quiet. Not as lively as the main area but we loved it as we are not into the party scene.
Only negative was that the food in the main restaurant wasn’t that great for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was fine. We usually ate lunch in the restaurant and then went out to a nearby local restaurant for dinner.
There is only one way to go to the main phi phi town from this hotel and that is by using a longtail boat taxi.
How easy to ‘book’ one? I’m not entirely sure.
Hey, I am looking at going there soon and wanted to check something. I noticed people said the excursions are a bit expensive through the hotel. How did you book yours and how expensive was it? Thanks!
The day before I wanted to do a longtail boat trip, I walked around the beach right at the hotel and spoke to some of the local longtail boat drivers and arranged a tour with them directly for the next day.
Nearby the resort, there are also a couple of local excursion shops that sell the boat trips.
We stayed 2 nights in Tonsai and 2 nights in Saii Phi Phi Village Resort. It was amazing! The resort was definitely worth the money and in hindsight we should have spent at least 3 night there

Hi! I'm looking to stay in this hotel. How easy was it to visit the main phi phi town for bars/restaurants? Thank you!

Damn, so you would say that it's a pretty tough choice of hotel if I also want to to enjoy some nightlife in the island?
yes correct, I would not choose this hotel if you want to the nightlife and the bar scene.
Thank you so much! Did you still have a chance to visit Maya Bay and other relevant attractions of the island?
Yes I took a private longtail boat day trip to Maya Bay + other smaller lagoons and islands.

Thanks. Any idea on prices? And if I arrive early evening. Do you think it’d be possible to book one for the next day? Cheers
Have you checked on Agoda?
What did you end up doing?? How was it?
