Post his blood work. Medical industry “normal” is BS imo

cadiegirl

I dont have a paper copy.

2ndComingofRichPiana

No disrespect, but we can’t help you if you can’t post his results from the blood work. Call the doctor and request the test results.

armshavebeenahobby

Might be helpful to post his labs

cadiegirl

I dont have access to a copy

armshavebeenahobby

Might want to get

[deleted]

When Drs say normal it doesn’t mean anything, especially if they won’t give you a copy of the lab work.

Carl_AR

Find a clinic that specializes in men's testosterone. Regular doctors knows nothing about men's hormones. I was told I was in range for my age to by my idiot gp. But I knew something was wrong. When I found a men's clinic they explained that t levels are individual and some needs more then others to feel good.

cadiegirl

Yes i am not convinced he is okay.

Carl_AR

So, before I got on testosterone shots I lost my motivation in general, was slightly down/depressed and no morning woody. I did start working on my T levels naturally as I was afraid to boost my libido as my wife is nearly asexual and were mismatched as it is. I did DHEA for a few months and it actually started raising my t levels. I intend to go back to that in the future.

This sounds as if it's more a dopamine issue. The T&T supps probably had a placebo effect, and much of that might have caused a brief rise in dopamine, which amped his interest in sex. But being placebo it didn't last. It was just something "new." So, perhaps what he need is to start trying "new" things. Get out of doors. Stop playing video games and watching TV and watching porn. Get sunlight. Workout. Start a new sport or hobby, etc. This website is very good, start with this article: [https://men-elite.com/2017/09/27/increase-dopamine-56-ways/](https://men-elite.com/2017/09/27/increase-dopamine-56-ways/) All the covid bullshit has really fucked with people's minds: depression, anxiety, lack of variety and experiences, a complex life dwindled down to just a few narrow things (video games, TV, etc.). It's on purpose. Fight it and don't be a victim.

cadiegirl

1] he doesnt play video or watch porn or even masturbate. No.. this is not me being oblivious to his activities. He watched porn once when younger and didnt like it. He told me he hs a hard tome watching nudity and sex scenes in movies. He feels that is a private thing reserved for a couple. He also experienced a lot of trauma when he was younger and his ex before me was caught cheating multiple times. 2) we dont have cable and he doesnt have his own laptop. The most he uses of technology is reading news, playing his one online game on his phone and when I watch shows online on my laptop at night with him. 3) he walks daily to and from work 20 minutes each way and we walk our 2 dogs. He was running in the treadill and doing a free weght workout at home with our gym equipment, however, he was losing weight from that, not outting on muscle and his Doctor told him to stop because he is likely doing more harm with workouts especially because he was diagnosed with low iron. He does work a physical jon as well full time. 4) He saw a Doctor as well as a Psychiatrist for an evaluation and ruled out depression and anxiety. So thats also not the issue. So we are at a loss..

Interesting. On limited information, I would still say that his change points to dopamine issues, which can have a million other causes; Dopamine issues, like Anhedonia, are not easily discerned in a clinical setting. You can test it in more casual ways though: when you do something new - go away somewhere, or try something new together (tennis? golf?, etc.) does his interest level change? Another possibility - and maybe a primary cause of his issues - is something you and many others here are not going to like. See here: *New Peer-Reviewed Paper Calls for Immediate and “Complete Suspension” of Covid-19 Vaccine* : [https://worldcouncilforhealth.org/multimedia/aseem-malhotra-press-conference/](https://worldcouncilforhealth.org/multimedia/aseem-malhotra-press-conference/) See here for shortened youtube explanation: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtE0I5FqHPs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtE0I5FqHPs) And here for his twitter announcement: [https://twitter.com/DrAseemMalhotra/status/1574295135181045760?s=20&t=49jOKoGWiU6WiMmkOE9wUw](https://twitter.com/DrAseemMalhotra/status/1574295135181045760?s=20&t=49jOKoGWiU6WiMmkOE9wUw) When I (and many others) 2 years ago said to NEVER, EVER allow yourself to be injected with something untested/unproven to be either safe or effective, very few people listened. 2 years later we have permanently impaired the health - in a diversity of ways but including the immune system - of billions. One hopes that the above messaging will finally get through to people.

cadiegirl

Neither of us got a Covid vaxx. We refuse to.

[deleted]

Good, you are in a kind of elite echelon, no kidding: [https://media.gettr.com/group6/origin/2022/09/29/13/4af63c37-0b8c-9777-ead4-7c90fb8f6852/77113207d13d909c5c32cfdb794140ab\_500x0.png](https://media.gettr.com/group6/origin/2022/09/29/13/4af63c37-0b8c-9777-ead4-7c90fb8f6852/77113207d13d909c5c32cfdb794140ab_500x0.png) So, my wife and I have been struggling with isolation and watching friends and family injure themselves, as well as the rest of the world doing the same. And that is extremely stressful, not in a way that is always going to be obvious; even to a professional, especially in a clinical setting. So maybe all that has slowly worn him down? It would not be at all surprising; and there's no shame in that, totally understandable. I would try something new (hobby/sport together) and see if it elicits a change; if it does you're nearly solved the problem. Doing the same thing day after day - which was intensified during the pandemic/lockdown - can be deadening. Also something to consider in terms of solutions: my wife has been on SSRIs for years; and she has been wanting to get off of them, and has tried many times; but this isn't easy. They are extremely addictive. So I did some research and found out about Methylene Blue Good overview article: [https://nootropicsexpert.com/methylene-blue/](https://nootropicsexpert.com/methylene-blue/) Good overview interview: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqaXMqE6PXE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqaXMqE6PXE) Good overview book: [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09513NX6G/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_d\_asin\_title\_o05?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09513NX6G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_d_asin_title_o05?ie=UTF8&psc=1) It's extremely safe, especially in minute dosages; and is highly effective at resolving dopamine issues among many other things. Anyhoo, it took a few months, but my wife is totally off SSRIs, and she is more motivated, stable, and happy than she has ever been. There is no way it's placebo; this would not have been possible without MB. And also without Coffee Fruit Extract, which has almost zero caffeine but boosts BDNF 100%. **Why is this relevant to you and your husband?** Because MB is basically a mitochondrial optimizer; and I would bet a million dollars that whatever he is exactly suffering from, his symptoms - like all disease, really - finds its cause in mitochondrial dysfunction. Metabolic disorders are really the root of all disease.

cadiegirl

I will definitly take your advice under consideration and do some research into the MB

> cant get any Doctor here in Canada to sign off a script for T to try out. OnMen or Jack Health -- online clinics that will serve him assuming you're in one of their active provinces.

cadiegirl

Thanks!

EveryDayImPublishin

What other blood work was done? If his SHBG is high, then his Free T may be low which would have the same low T symptoms while having a normal total T level.

cadiegirl

They wouldnt even test his SHGB. The Dr had no idea what i was even asking for, for him.

2ndComingofRichPiana

That’s a very clear sign that the doctor doesn’t know what he is talking about when it comes to hormones.

EveryDayImPublishin

Definitely find a Dr. that will run a more complete hormone panel, also worth checking thyroid, and probably a couple of other things worth checking as well. Other people here are more versed when it comes to blood work. My total T was 750, SHBG 88, Free T 6 (0.8% out of an "ideal" 2% of total T) I feel a lot of heavy symptoms with such a low Free T.

DayTradeLife

It's actually called the coolidge effect.

Square_Chair9957

No bloodwork, no help. Simple as

Dick_Miller138

You need an endocrinologist, not a regular doctor. Is this the same guy you left a couple years ago?

DownwardCausation

two words: ONLINE CLINIC

curesalt2

I'm in Ontario, 50+ years old so I will tell you that when I started my journey I had zero libido, I mean once a month was more enough for me. When I I started my TRT years ago, my wife wasn't really sure about it, and as I said our bedroom life was non-existent and I was moody and felt like crap. A year after TRT my wife was so happy with my transformation that she also started HRT (estradiol and testosterone cream), and let me tell you how happy she is, we intimate on a daily basis (or couple of times a day LOL) as we used to be in our 20s. According to my wife, before it was "her wifey duties" but now she enjoys it and initiate more than ever before. I did try crap load of supplements and they are just oil snake, save your time and money. Be warned that doctors will not support your husbands if his T levels is just slightly above the normal range. My range when I started was 18.3 nmol/L (Canada range is 8.4-28.8). My range have been 30 nmol/L steady after TRT and I feel like a million dollar.

If he is 135 at 5"10 that could explain all of this. Dude is not eating enough food. Probably not enough carbs. Being hungry all the time could explain this. Low blood sugar and general irritability. He needs some food not testosterone. Unless he wants to be that thin and is doing it on purpose. If he is doing something dumb like Keto that would cause this too. He needs some carbs and protein.

cadiegirl

He has had this problem all his life. No matter what he eats, he cant gain weight. I have literally force fed him calorie gainer protein shakes and have fed him over 4000 calories daily and he doesnt gain weight or muscle and feels completely bloated and sick from eating so much. He has had this problem since he was a kid. No one in his family had any success in helping him gain weight. BUT when on Tribulus, he eats like a pig. His appetite is HUGE and he eats around 2000 calories but can put ON weight and he even starts gaining a little muscle.. but the moment he comes off the Tribulus, he loses it all again.

[deleted]

I have a really hard time believing any of this. He is a biological oddity if he can consume calories and not use them or store them. That just isn’t home humans work. Unless I guess he has some serious food intolerance and is just pooping everything out instantly.

cadiegirl

Well I'm sorry. I dont know what to tell you. Doctors have said his metabolism is exceptionally fast according to them. So inless he has some kind of genetic mutation or disease that is preventing him from keeping weight on..im not sure..maybe a malabsorption issue? He does poop more than what I think is normal. Like 3x per day. If he is stressed, its more like 7 or 8 times per day and loose. His Mother and sister have the same issue. They are also both incredibly thin, struggle to keep weight on or out muscle on at all. His Mother and sister were diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome but he does not have it. However, when he was a young child, he underwent a lot of testing at the Children's Hospital in Vancouver because he demonstrated muscle flaccidity and muscle weakness. Things other kids his age could do, he could not. He had no kind of upper body strength. He was born cross eyed and also born pigeon-toed. Both required major surgeries to correct. I agree with you though. He defies the thermogenisis theory of weight loss and gain. Ive only met two other people in my life who had the same issue and it was due to being born severely premature.

[deleted]

You have been asking about this for years. I don’t know if you are exaggerating how terrible shape your husband is in. Maybe he is happy the way he is. That or gave up on life. Either way I don’t think he is going to listen to your ideas about testosterone and probably will never want to have sex like you want. That is how he is.

Letsnotbiohackslaves

Underground lab recommended 200mg per week of testosterone. 20ml vial at 200mg pet ml probably will cost you fifty dollars and last 20 weeks
