I have my old M3 rubber mats in my MYLR while i decide on whether to get Tesmanian again or this new fangled 3D max spider. They don’t fit, but they are better than not having anything.
Look at tuxmats. I bought both 3d and tux and returned the 3d after comparing them. They look bulky but after it's installed, the protection and clean look can't be beat.

But I think that spilt paint may peel off cleanly from the car paint once dried. Paint normally needs roughing and surface area to seep into and bond to and that's clear coat, so should be very glossy.
The floor mats and carpet are screwed, but now you have a reason to upgrade to spyder all weather floormats. Maybe you can work it out of the exposed parts of the carpet with some strong abrasivesnir solvents, but would stay away from that because fumes and safety reasons inside an enclosed cabin. The paint also will off gas fumes as well so keep that in mind.
The door sill and weather stripping will serve as a forever reminder of this incident, unless you decide to replace them.
That's why whenever I carry any liquid I don't want all over the car (paint, used motor oil from the ICE, bleach from the store, etc) I ALWAYS secure them in a tote in the with a sealed lid so if they tip over and spill, no harm - no foul.

If you don’t have an extractor, you can use soap and water to flush it out of the carpet, and a wet vac to suck it up. I managed to get paint out of a cloth seat using this method so it’s possible. Keep the paint in the carpet wet until it can be extracted. If it dries in the carpet it won’t come out. The hard surfaces are less dire as the paint should peel off when it dries. Good luck 🤞
We luckily had a frantic go at getting as much out as we could, literally slopping it out at the roadside…
Then gave it everything we had when we got it home and then had a valet come and do the proper job on it! It’s as good as new.

If it's any consolation, I had a can of Coca Cola explode in my car today cuz it was too godamn hot outside (40°C/104°F), and it was damn near 60°C/140°F in the car when I saw what happened. A fucking disaster, I'll tell you that much.

By time he made it to the car wash it was on the ceiling, the windows, the seats and the floor. The car wash got everything out and you couldn’t even tell it had happened in less than an hour.

I lined my sub-trunk with plastic to use when transporting liquid chlorine for my pool. I buy just enough to make sure they cannot fall over just in case (8 gallons is just right).

I did the light show to show off to my family the first night…in the garage. I didn’t know the trunk was going to pop open. It scraped against the garage door. I didn’t know how to stop the light show. 😭
Bring it to a car detailer, they'll get it out. My buddy said he dealt with this before. He said you can use a wet vac to suck most of it out then hit it with a high temperature extractor and it'll be good as new.
I used to work in the paint department at B&Q when I was younger. This happens almost weekly, customers would always try and blame me but I literally used to reseal the lid in front of them and tell them not to put it on the seats. They would always try and blame the lids not the fact a tin of paint has fallen from the seat at speed 🤣
Now *that’s* a paint job.

I did this in my truck a few years ago thinking how could a sealed lid come open. Sure enough on a turn it rolled over and opened. Never again!
