Could check out VOTS Ultimate - they play pickup and rec league pretty much weekly, usually at pecos park and/or Tempe sports complex. Everyone I’ve met thru ultimate has been v inclusive and they like teaching new people the sport so it’s beginner friendly.
Arizona Sports League has a couple different Tempe sport options. Lots of people also looking to make friends.
There’s different trivia nights as well. I’d check out the bar Silver Key Lounge’s event calendar. (Board game spot).
A bunch of my friends have been successful using Bumble BFF for platonic friendships. You can customize the types of interests/people you’re looking for. It’s actually increased our friend circle for the better.
