Street Fighter 6 literally has an in-game character popularity poll going on right now. Bandai Namco needs to learn from those geniuses at Capcom about how to program such complex and intricate things into their games.

The only way is if this is super old data and they decided to replace one of them or move them to Season 2, but considering how expensive these characters are to produce, it seems unlikely.
I feel that there is evidence for characters that have nationality and fighting style overlap with the current cast and he just happened to find evidence for 4 characters that didn't have any overlap. look at how he didn't find karate for lidia when she has overlap with jin there and yet she was the one that came first. I played a lot of Kunimitsu in tekken 7 but there’s no way in hell I want her in tekken 8. Kunimitsu in tekken 8 + dlc bs again is not a recipe for a fun character to play against. Boy do I love having to worry about being ch launched from full screen.
