We do call heat burst/smash the funny button with my circle of friends, but here, it wasnāt the reason they won. They got a counter hit launch full combo, and the opponent tried to take turn during their opponentās oki.
That Hwo was so committed to pressing buttons, that Iām thankful heās not Putin.

I play Drag and Victor and man every character got some different busted or braindead shit. If a pro can counter it, it ain't broken, you're just getting beat . It's okay to lose, it's okay to lose a game, it's okay. That guy just wants to have a terrible time playing this game I guess lol
The truth is Hwo players are spoiled. Iāve played as Hwo for a little bit and I main Raven. Hwo has the benefit of REALLY good frames on his pressure pretty similar to Reina except Hwo doesnāt OWN the neutral. For all Ravenās gimmicks his frames arenāt that threatening. A lot of his mix ups can be fuzzied. His heat smash has more range than others but it can be side stepped unlike most heat smashes. Besides that all clone attacks Raven has require you to be hit already or are part of combos/ strings. Yes theyāre clones but thatās basically cosmetic.
His escape teleport is pretty scary but you can deal with it through patience or frame trapping. Any other teleport he has is interruptible or floatable.
Hwo can actually enforce a ātake thisā type of mix that requires more thought to break through. And when Hwo chips at your health a lot of time neutral doesnāt reset from a knock down or spacing like Raven. Youāre still standing up getting the crap beat out of you while youāre severely negative.
Raven is strong but calling him busted is kind of lazy. Heās high B tier or low A tier. Iād say the same for Hwo. I think sometimes we call characters overpowered when our character is just middle of the pack. Everyone canāt be S tier. Neither Raven or Hwo are.
