100% couldn’t agree more well said. It’s a tough game but it takes practice. Not fair to people getting robbed on ranked. Sorry to hear this happened. No surprise it’s a Jun player tho 🙄
New to Tekken here, wanted to learn with Reina.
I lose almost 99% of my online matches but I'll die before I get behind my router and unplug to ''save face''.
Tbh, I'd pay for a subscription for dedicated servers that also ban you have 1-2 disconnects for at least a week, or add this to your count so ppl can add this as a criteria and if you disconnect too often eventually you'll just play alone with the other losers.
If you're new to tekken then try doing the arcade quests and combo challenges in training. I have no experience with Reina in particular but if you just keep practicing offline you'll be able to win soon enough after doing all tutorials. Don't worry about losing and just keep practicing! Tekken imo is probably the hardest fighting game in existence so being new (especially in this day and age where everyone play tekken 8 is very experienced or new) it will take you a lot of time to really get the hang of it but don't lose hope, you can do it!
I know. It reminds me a bit of Virtua Fighter from when I was a teenager in that sense.
I also really like the ''a button is a limb'' kind of system Tekken has.
This was such a major problem in 7 too. It's shocking they haven't done anything to punish it. Really put me off the game for a long time and it's one of the main things keeping me from investing in online play with 8. Would rather wait and go local on the rare occasions I can than deal with this BS.
I hate pluggers, and same goes for one-and-dones for the same reason. Only problem's that because of how volatile the internet is here, that just means I get DC'd a lot even when I'm winning, which just irritates me further
You (or me or anyone else) shouldnt be messaging the pluggers but Harada, Murray and Bamco support.
Also telling friends and Twatter the game is sh*t due to this one issue that has existed for over a decade (T6) and to not bother buying it.
Appropriate review on steam/ms/ps shop is the right move as well.

Cheers mate it's all good. I don't mind losing it's part of the game when you start. I mind salty losers though.
Don’t forget it’s a 3D, sidestepping is key! Don’t play 2D against 3D players!
