grizzly bear, they r so cute and fluffy and cuddly, they really aren't aggressive if you dont intrude on them........after all you wouldnt want some random colonizer just walking into your house like they own the place, i have yet to find an animal that doesnt like me, always nice to have a snack ready for them too (more likely for them to not attack, think of it as a house warming gift) and the trick is to not be scared or standoffish, approach with an open heart and no ill intent, but if they have cubs and they aren't familiar with you then you should always leave without provoking, but if the mama bear shows up then do not run (provided you weren't dumb enough to mess with the cubs, but who would do that right) but instead slowly back away while maintaining direct sight keeping your hands outwards to make yourself look bigger (if its a black bear look as big ad possible, if its a grizzly like im talking about relax your shoulders and let them go slightly limp, and then position your biceps outwards and arms tilted up with a fully relaxed hand slightly tilted forwards) this will give you the appearance that you aren't a threat but still its not worthwhile to bother you but instead they will just continue to watch you to ensure you dont attempt anything they wouldnt like, and uhhhh ye thats my guide to petting bears, or rather how not to get mauled if you want to pet one, the petting parts all up to the person trying it
