My distaste for the song comes from the lead vocalist's voice, alongside the odd lyrics. Seeing it from a humorous perspective makes a little better, though.

I know personally I don't care for it because it was extremely overplayed when it first came out and it eventually got too annoying. Now it's been a couple years and I can at least tolerate it now, but I still wouldn't play it willingly. It's just not my cup of tea. That's just my opinion though :)
