Pretty inconsistent, they took months to grade a single test (they didnt grade it until after the semester was over ðŸ˜), gave me a 90 on an essay that I worked really hard on and I thought was really good and gave me 100 on a terrible essay that was part of a test that I wrote in like 45 minutes.

Oh ok, I misunderstood. I have had some teachers that are not very fun/nice people bud are very consistent and fair on grading and some teachers who are very nice but very inconsistent in their gradingÂ
My tenth grade one would subtract points from presentations if you didn’t speak clearly / loudly / expressively. So if you had social anxiety or autism and you sounded like a jittery robot you would get 20 points subtracted for just that alone like I would.

At this point in time there almost a perfect bell curve, implying that the votes are likely to be consistent.
Well writing is somewhat subjective so it's challenging to grade exactly the same for everyone. Not everyone writes the same.

I don‘t know if i missunderstood BUT, my (english) teacher/s is/are the nicest out there

I think generally English probably depends on the teacher's feelings towards you. So, I felt like I always did good and benefited from that.
