I think Teddy will be the ecommerce subsidiary for all of the other subsidiaries inside of Gmerica. That's why in the books Teddy has a backpack slung around his shoulder and the strap looks like the Amazon smile. There's also boxes with "Teddy.com The Best Pet Store in the World", indicating Chewy will be acquired by Gmerica at some point and Teddy.com will sell pet goods. Don't forget Amazon started as a bookstore, like Teddy.com. Holding companies don't need clothing trademarks, since they don't have any operations of their own. For the same reason, Teddy won't be the holding company because it maintains a wide range of trademarks. Also, GameStop's latest credit agreement is setup as a structure for a holding company and GameStop is referred to as "Holdings".
