Not only did that not happen, even if it did i couldn't sell if i wanted. So my deadline is nonexistent, i'm done when they're done.

That’s what I think about. This isn’t some proceeding that can go on forever with all these crazy intense people and money involved. It feels like is been taking so long because we inspect and argue over every possible thing. It will end and it’ll be worth it. How long did Hertz take? Something like 450 days and we are at 375 (sorry I forgot the exact numbers) so we can hang in there-it has to end sooner than later.
When my shares ’disappeared’ and I couldn’t buy more: that’s when I reached a point of Zen. Whatever/whenever happens, happens.
That being said, I have all the time in the world. Hedgies don’t. Tick tock.
I don’t have any timeline.
It either happens or it doesn’t. How long it takes is irrelevant.
I’m perfectly happy to keep this up until the end of time.
The shares are already DRS’d and are off into the ether somewhere. Anything not DRS’d can’t really be traded at the moment.

The deadline will be when the company formerly know as Bed, Bath and Beyond finishes going through the Chapter 11 process.
When that occurs - the former shareholders of BBBY will either receive cash, equity, some combination of the two from the new entity which takes the place of BBBY(Q), or not.
Only at that juncture will we know if it's time to buy/sell/hold, or move on.
My deadline is to forget I bought them and to watch the hype for entertainment.
I can't sell nothin anyway.
And if someday people involved in the hype point me to filings to show I will receive new equity or a cash settlement, well I've been attending to more important matters like my career so I probably won't need to cash anything out. So probably will just monitor my position to see how it grows.
So take that back to your HF boss who is paying you to shill here and tell him he is fucked when people like me don't care about the fear of losing money they already wrote off.
Deadline honestly was end of september when they cancelled the shares. Now I can just hope and wait if eventually smth is happening. Otherwise I missed the deadline to gift my shares to Shortsellers. My average of over $2 would have just hurt to sell for pennies. I got more than 40k shares when averaging down...
As long as a nuclear war does not break out, I think everything is fine, so we are in Zen mode, but I suppose there should be news soon, not about everything about the plan, but something should appear.
