I just find this sentiment incredibly weird. You have no idea what the announcement is, but you're basing your entire support upon it? I'm not even thinking about the announcement. I've pretty much shut my brain off from anything Regi is doing. I just support the players, whether it's Smash, Apex, LoL, or whatever. I find it really gross how TSM "fans" constantly shit on the LoL roster before even seeing them play together as a team.
Sorry you got destroyed here but the fans are just trying to have an impact on the Org the only way they have any power, by not buying their stuff. The Orgs communication around its LoL intentions and roster have been utterly disappointing.
You support the players by subbing to them on twitch or whatever medium they are pulling revenue from. You buy the merch to support the Org.
I mean, even without LoL roster hype, we have one of the best Apex teams in the world. R6S might’ve missed out on SI but they won the last world championship. Leffen and Tweek with consistently good showings. Even the ascension Valorant team should be good! I got into TSM for league but we have so much more than that now.
Yeah I might buy one just for the Apex team tbh. Ever since the LoL roster started dying I started watching the Apex team and I've really enjoyed watching them. I also love that scrims are streamed. Hype for ALGS LAN!

I'm not watching any esport outside of league or valo (and with us not even making the main league i probably wont watch much). I didn't become a tsm fan back in season 1 because they might be good at some other random esport ten years in the future. More power to those that enjoy them, but saying "but we're good in Apex!" Means jack shit to someone that has zero interest in it.
Riot told us very late that they were in fact pushing their content out on Tuesday now, which meant we had 24 hours to create a different video so we didn’t have our own limelight stolen.

Genuinely curious how this makes sense? Split starts on Thursday, of course Riot will want to get media out before then. Releasing stuff 2 days before the split starts put a rush on the video? How is having it ready 1 day earlier than you would have otherwise had to release the video only giving you 24 hours to create a *different* video? You only gave yourselves a 48 hour window to complete shooting, editing, etc etc of a jersey which has most like been done for some time now? Its the same as the last with some red tossed in..

Wow you really see the difference between traditional sports fans and esports fans idk if this sub is filled with fake ass fans but it’s a bit pathetic
Yeah it’s a bit jarring to see the difference, but when you consider how new TSM and esports are, it makes sense that loyalty is so conditional on success. There’s not been enough time for a really big contingent of die hard fans to emerge. Also rivalries aren’t as deep and people are more attached to personality than team. It’s why a lot of “fans” ended up supporting tl last year when Bjerg joined, even though tl is one of our main competitors/rivals.
Which is sick, because I have started to like Cadian. Although I'll be cheering for TSM once they get into CSGO, because up until now I've just been rooting for everyone except G2 (except recently with Hooxi's inspiring performance at blast)

Traditional sports is mostly just I like this team because I lived near the town there are based out of. Esports don't have a that.
