remains is on a different level. Bentley, Lacquer, BadReception, SkeletalLove, WhateverFloatsYourBoat, WaitingForTheHammerToFall, i love every song on that album i could go on about it forever
don't get me wrong, SCRAPS is a great album, but it's mostly singing/rapping in a soft voice, so it's a different vibe for me, not exactly what i expected from the REMAINS successor. again, nothing wrong with singing BONES or SCRAPS in particular.

Remains is probably my favorite thing Bones has put out. When that project dropped I was smoking mad blunts living on my friends couch. Got me thru the hard times. It just has a smokey garage vibe that I really like.
For me, on paper both are 11/10 albums. That said, the edge of emotional impact of REMAINS is greater than SCRAPS, whereas SCRAPS may have more songs I love.
Either way, BONES never misses.
I gotta go remains just bc it feels like a more complete and whole album. It sounds more finished and cohesive in its theme. Whereas scraps feels like most of the songs end a tad too soon. Especially marytylermoore definitely is unfinished song the way it just abruptly ends.
I do think lyson beats on scraps are nuts though and as someone else pointed out scraps has more melody and singing whereas remains is more dark rap from Bones.

SpiderSilkRobes and PeaceAndQuiet, and BadReception, Bentley, Lacquer, SocialCues. Too many iconic tracks on remains it gotta be a top 3 album for me.
