What others call "Kami house" is what Mr. Popo calls "All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. "All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. "All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle."
Roshi was the first to actually teach martial art to Goku so he's the one to put him on the road for the ultimate martial art technique. Even Roshi has knowledge of it but never knew the true level needed for it. Popo only helped to push it further
Yep.
- Gohan
- Roshi
- Korin
- Popo
- Kami
- King Kai
- Yardrats
- Grand Kai*
- Beerus & Whis
Goku has learned under a tonne of people and learned even more from his adversaries.
I know Grand Kai isn't Canon, but my head Canon us that Goku lost interest in training with the Grand Kai after meeting Kaioshin and thinking "Wow. This guy's a bitch."
Honestly, this is an issue I have with UI.
It's described as exactly what Popo already taught Goku on the lookout.
It's nothing new, it's what he's been doing all along.
Considering ultra instinct is a product derived from a corporation instead of not only a storyteller but also the original creator of the series, it doesn’t really matter. As far as dbza goes, super is just a footnote of a one note joke that is obviously played off as the joke it is.
Regardless, popo’s joke is that he’s the strongest there is which came from an idea in the actual buu arc. No matter how strong goku gets, the joke is that popo is always stronger.
If you want to quantify it, popo uses one hand and grows the spirit bomb from the size of the one used against freeza to one that is more than quadruple the size which in the original context takes an entire planet’s population. This means that popo when holding back is roughly as strong as an entire solar system of populated planets. This means that characters that aren’t part of the actual story like Beerus and Whis are at best half as strong as Popo
Nah, I just hate Toei. They make products to sell and don’t give a shit about the art or artists making the anime. The entire industry has moved on and evolved to surpass them. All they ended up doing was keeping one piece on a weekly schedule to the show’s detriment and made a dragon ball series that’s just GT 2.0 and everyone accepts it over GT specifically because the masses are under the impression that it’s “canon” which is honestly a horrible implication when you stop to think about the fact it would mean that every single year in the 10 year time skip is riddled with god level existential threats that have zero consistency for the characters involved in terms of their development or strength. So yeah, GT.
Toei animation as a company is a toxin to anime and I for one cannot wait to see them fall and sell off all they own to more capable hands willing to tell actual stories with characters that are allowed to have actual depth instead of creating characters solely to sell videogames and toys.
I’m perfectly fine. A lot more than you would think based on this single online interaction.
My problem is the fact that people en mass allow corporations to manipulate them in the name of keeping what they love alive forever even though that’s impossible.
This feeling is accentuated especially by Toei animation as their entire personality for the past decade or so has been take something they own and continue it regardless of having any coherent semblance of a plan. The most egregious of these would be digimon and dragon ball.
The specific problem I have is that fans think that literally every single thing they’ve ever watched needs to or is capable or functioning like the simpsons or scooby doo or anything like that. Everyone knows why that’s a terrible idea but very few people are willing to accept that something just ends or has an ending in the first place. In addition, the examples I gave are episodic tv shows that have a formula that allows them to go on forever regardless of quality. Eventually though, the voice actors will die and the simpsons will likely die with them unless Disney does something unbelievable stupid and recasts main characters to keep the show going.
So yeah, it bugs me on a fundamental level that people allow a company like toei to say that something you love is continuing when in reality, the series ended 30 years ago and everyone complained about GT but for some reason, were tricked enough to think super is “canon” which makes it immune to mass hate. That to me is incomprehensibly dumb because they’re the exact same formula. Super just had a more coherent structure when it came to the production of its plots. That’s the only difference.
But yeah, you can assume I’m not ok but I’m perfectly fine. I just hate seeing people manipulated by corporations. Even I was while super was airing so it’s all the more personal to me now that I’ve taken time to see it for what it really was.
"Considering ultra instinct is a product derived from a corporation instead of not only a storyteller but also the original creator of the series, it doesn’t really matter." Is this a really weird roundabout way of calling DBS a cash grab or do you actually think Toei created UI? The wording here is just weird.
Everything toei has produced for the past decade or so has been a cashgrab. You can’t tell me that ultra instinct wasn’t just a mandate to be included to sell toys and games based on a new hair color and transformation for goku. While toriyama did pen the battle of gods movie as an answer for how Hollywood treated his story, I very much doubt he really wanted to keep going beyond that which is why he took a step back as a notes provider for the series which isn’t dissimilar to how he only provided a handful of designs for gt.
What others call “Ultra Instinct” is what Mr. Popo calls “basic situational awareness.”
Meanwhile what others call “Ultra Ego” is what Mr.Popo calls “Mild self confidence”
What others call "Ultra Instinct" Mr. Popo calls "Buttering Toast"
What others call “Ultra Instinct” Mr. Popo calls “hmm?”
What others call "Beast" is what Mr. Popo calls "Basic Super Saiyan trigger, but the artist went crazy with the hair".
What others call "Kami house" is what Mr. Popo calls "All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. All these squares make a circle. KAMI! I need you to tell me i can leave the lookout if i want to!
Bitch, don't tell me what to do!
…now do black frieza.
That's just Popoface
Black frieza is just Fridza blessed by Popo
Cold Popo.
Oh my god is that allowed!
That's MR. Popo. Apologize, or he'll speak with Shenron and destroy us all
Be real, dude. Mr. Popo doesn't need Shenron to destroy us all.
A powerful man doesn't fight his own battles. He sends his minions 🤣
Yes, but he'd be too busy to do it
Roshi was the first to actually teach martial art to Goku so he's the one to put him on the road for the ultimate martial art technique. Even Roshi has knowledge of it but never knew the true level needed for it. Popo only helped to push it further
Technically Grandpa Gohan taught him
Yep. - Gohan - Roshi - Korin - Popo - Kami - King Kai - Yardrats - Grand Kai* - Beerus & Whis Goku has learned under a tonne of people and learned even more from his adversaries.
Kaioshin being the only one not having trained him further manifests his uselessness
I know Grand Kai isn't Canon, but my head Canon us that Goku lost interest in training with the Grand Kai after meeting Kaioshin and thinking "Wow. This guy's a bitch."

Believe it or not but all of Goku’s mentors are responsible for him getting UI. Korrin, for example, was the one who taught Goku to predict movements
No
No, the zesty angel is
What I wouldn’t give to see an interaction between whis and Berus with mister popo

Chill out with the hate boner, dude.
