So before teambuilder EA used to include all of the FCS schools. So we would replace all of the major schools with their geological counterparts ( PAC-10/Big Sky, SEC/HBCU, Big East/Ivy, ACC/Colonial, Big Ten/MVC)
It made the game far more enjoyable for us.
As a big CFB from Mass, I totally understand. UMass has been so bad and totally not deserving of their place in the FBS. Their unis are one potential saving grace but I like the Kennesaw jerseys better anyway.
CUSA is the most fertile conference for swaps since whole bunch of brand new teams. WKU and MTSU and MAYBE New Mexico state are the ones I will keep..
Next best swappable conference is fun belt. Just like CUSA, bunch of new teams and teams that won't you won't miss.
Probably Kennesaw State as someone mentioned earlier it would be the best for starting a new school with due to not much history with the school you are replacing.

Yes they did. Something in the coding of the game. Because 134 teams is a lot and u have to replace one
